Chapter 04

When they returned to class, the students chattered as they sat back in their assigned seats.

Lee Ah Eun walks through the row to her seat, pausing for a moment when she reaches Ni-ki's seat, still annoyed by him of what he has offered her at the library earlier.

Ni-ki was sitting in his seat, staring at her, and they ended up staring at each other.

Ah Eun gave him piercing stares, but Ni-ki only gave her cold stares.Then he's the one who breaks the stares, for the first time making her feel ignored.

He simply looked at Jake in the front, who was talking with their classmates, as he broke the stares.

He just chose to ignore her, just like she does to them, he bounced it back to her.

Ah Eun simply returned to her seat next to Ni-ki. But just as she was about to sit down, she noticed the Harry Potter book on her desk.

She took the book and examined it, puzzled as to why it was placed there. Then she heard a familiar voice enter the room. She noticed Jay and Sunghoon enter the room together.

Sunghoon was already staring at her. He gave her a meaningful smile before turning away.

Ah Eun was puzzled as to why he returned it to her.

But then she turned away when she noticed Sunghoon, who was minding his own business.

She returned her gaze to the Harry Potter book and the horror book she was holding.

She suddenly had a flashback to what Ni-ki had said earlier.

She looked at him beside her but hesitant to say her word.

"Riki,"

He instantly looked back at her when he heard her call him, "Just Ni-ki, okay?"

"Whatever", then she just passed him the horror book that he liked as she placed it on his desk.

That made Ni-ki surprised of her, he he just stared at the book on his desk, "Why are you giving me this?"

"You said you liked it" she said, then mind her own business by looking away from him and turning her attention to her ipad.

Ni-ki locked his gaze on her, as his eyes were sparkling.

So, she payed attention to me. He let out a small smile, gazing at her, but Ah Eun suddenly looked back, sensing his gaze on her, and so he looked away; fading his little smile.

The bell rings in the afternoon, signaling that it is time for them to leave.

Lee Ah Eun walks straight to the door and exits the room. She walks through the corridor, wanting to get back to her condo.

When the boys noticed her, they immediately left.

They're wondering what's wrong with her. She never spoke to anyone in the entire class. She did nothing but stare at the glassboard and out the window beside her.

A girl suddenly blocked her path as she made her way to the gate.

"Lee Ah Eun-ssi!" Han Miso called her as she suddenly popped out at her front. Smiling brightly on her.

Ah Eun stopped from walking and looked at her, "What do you want?" she looked frustrated.

"Do you wanna hang out? We can go to the market place! I'll treat you some, I just really wanna get to know you. I hope we can be good friends!" Miso innocently smiled at her. She's like a kid.
