Chapter 42

"Uh- Konon, someone's looking for you here at the gate!" Sola yelled as she went out to see someone from the gate who ringed the doorbell of the their villa.

Therefore, Konon went out when her eyes immediately widened seeing the aussie guy standing outside, surprised, "Jake? What are you doing here?"

"Oh- he's Ni-ki's friend, the one that you told me handso—-" Sola was about to say when Konon instantly covered her mouth with her palm, "Shut up, Misora, not now," she whispered.

Jake can be seen already grinning hearing that, "So I'm handsome in your definition huh,"

"No!" Konon strongly disagreed, "Sola, go back inside,"

However, Sola was smiling from ear to ear as she looks at them alternatively, her cheeks were blushing.

"Don't look at me like that!" Konon annoyingly said, "Get inside! Don't be stubborn!"

"Don't scare your sister, you look like you're going to eat her sooner," Jake giggled.

Konon can be seen glaring on Sola for obviously teasing her over Jake. Eventually, while smiling meaningfully, Sola just went inside in order to give them time to talk.

"I'm wondering how Ni-ki and Sola survived to have a sister like you," Jake chuckled as he started teasing.

"Yah! Sim Jaeyun! Really? The first thing you do getting back in here in Seoul is to tease me?? Why the heck are you even here???" Konon asked, irritatedly.

"I went here to visit," he smiled.

"Well, your friend, Ni-ki, isn't here, you have no one to visit so just leave," Konon glared on him.

"I went here for you, I've been away in Jeju for couple days. How could you just send me away? Didn't you miss me??" Jake asked, starting to sulk but Konon awkwardly looked away, avoiding his stares.

But Jake tried to catch her eyes, Konon was trying so hard to dodge it when he talked, "Konon, I missed you a lot,"

That made her turned to look back at him in an instant, "J-just.. le-lea-ve," she stuttered.

"But I have to give this to someone," he said as he showed up a bouquet of flowers and a basket of the tangerines he picked in Jeju.

Konon's eyes instantly shined seeing the flowers and the tangerines, she inwardly felt her heart racing fast.

However, she tried composing herself to not get moved by him even if she knew well to herself that he misses him too, "We're not accepting those cringy stuffs, so just LEAVE,"

"Cringy? Well, I'd like to give this cringy stuff to the only beautiful girl in my world," Jake smirked.

"Babe, let me in," he abruptly said.

Konon immediately felt her cheeks burning just hearing him called her like that, "Yah! Don't be loud! My parents are already here, they could be mistaken us!"

"Oh seriously? I guess I would love to be mistaken, just like Ah Eun and Ni-ki before! But can you tell your parents that I'm here to court their first born daughter??" Jake proudly smiled, looking confident of himself.

"Can I be your boyfriend, my baby?" He smirked.

"MY BABY?" Konon rolled her eyes.

"Yes baby?" He answered, grinning.

"Oh do you think they'll like you?" Konon referred to her parents, observing how confident he is.

"Of course, I'm hundred percent sure," he smiled, as he remembered how the Nishimura family treated and welcomed Lee Ah Eun as Ni-ki's girlfriend before.
