Chapter 28

In Jay's home, where they were enjoying Lee Ah Eun's favorite samgyeopsal, Jake suddenly showed up as they were all hunting for him because previously, he had been nowhere to be found.

"Yah where have you been? We're almost done eating," Sunghoon said as he scold the aussie guy who suddenly went missing and suddenly back.

But then, they instantly saw a girl behind Jake.

"Konon? What are you doing here?" Ni-ki asked in shock as he didn't expect his sister to come to Jay's house together with Jake.

And so, everyone paused from eating after sighting Konon.

"I asked Jake to pick me up to school since all of Lee Ah Eun's friends are gathered here, I got some news." Konon said, making all of them looked intrigued.

"What news is it about?" Jungwon asked, staring on his crush, Konon.

"I heard about everything that happened in Hangkuk University earlier, your secret is spread to entire Gyungmi University too, Ah Eun-ah. Everyone knew you, and there are some cops roaming around the street here in Seoul, they're looking for you." Konon said worriedly.

But just hearing Konon's news made them all looked shocked. Ah Eun's secret easily spread as like that and now, everyone knew her.

"Ah Eun is already wanted here in Seoul." Jake said, making everyone turned to look at him.

"Then I should just go with the cops, I'll go back in states," Ah Eun simply said, while all of them are starting to wonder, looking at her intently.

"You really did that??" Konon surprisedly asked, noticing that she won't even get scared or insist that she didn't kill someone.

"But they have no proofs, Ah Eun-ah," Soo Hyun worriedly said, obviously does not want to surrender her.

"You're going to leave us??" Miso worriedly asked.

"I can't let you go in prison, Ah Eun." Sunghoon said, staring in her eyes deeply.

"Ah Eun-ah, think first before you make a decision. A lot of things could happen and we don't know which is good and bad for you. Let's be careful." Jungwon said, advising.

"Listen to me all of you," she started saying, making them shut their mouths as they just looked at her, "You guys didn't even know me to trust me like that, you didn't know that I murdered someone not until you find out, so don't care about me, I can handle myself. I've been in prison before, I know how it goes there. It's honestly more miserable being chased by the cops, that's tiring. I'd just rather surrender myself. I don't want to cause you all any more troubles,"

"You think you'll just go straight to prison if you surrender to the cops?" Jay asked as he started to chime, thinking about something, making them all curious of what he said, especially Lee Ah Eun.

"What do you mean?" She asked, cluelessly.

But before answering, everyone was confusedly staring at Jay, he was peeking outside the window as if he's observing if there's someone outside.

"You killed Clyden Scott, his father is a big business man around the world and you knew that, Heeseung hyung knew it too, he's not an ordinary person, I'm sure that his dad would do everything to make you sacrifice or worst, torture you," Jay seriously said.

Everyone gulped with their wide eyes after hearing Jay's words. Especially the torture one. But he's right, he's a friend of Clyden so he has an idea how cruel Clyden's dad can be.

"What??!" Konon reacted as she was so surprised, same as the others. Her goosebumps started to show up as if she already imagined a person being tortured like what can found in movies.
