I was alone in my drivers room. It felt good to see Skye again, she always looked so pretty. She could still make my heart skip a beat. We almost kissed again, but unfortunately Maya interrupted us. I didn't really know why Skye walked away after that. I wish I ran after her but I didn't. I hated myself for that.
She didn't want me to do the interview but I felt like I had to do it. They would publish it either way, but I didn't want them to use Miles' words. I guess I should respect her feelings about this as well, she was half of the story so if she didn't want it then I wouldn't do it.

"The practice sessions looked fine right?" Max F. said as we were sitting on the couch together. He was right, they went really well which made me gain trust for the qualifying tomorrow. "I guess yeah" I shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't really in the mood to talk. "Verstappen invited us to his room tomorrow after quali" he just said as if I already knew. "Wait what? Why?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Kelly and him have something important to tell us" I really wanted to be there for them as they were here for me but I really wasn't in the mood for this. I just wanted to go home after quali and rest. "I will think about it" I mumbled but Max nudged me. "No, you will go. They listened to your whining for months" I rolled my eyes. Why did they have to do it after qualifying though.
I didn't reply anymore. We had to film a video for Quadrant anyway so I could take my mind of things. It was always fun to do these things with Max. He definitely pulled me out of the mess. I was so thankful for him.
"Hi Lando, how are you?" Max and Maya walked in the living room where I was watching a movie. I turned my face to them. "Yeah good, how are you?" They both sat down on the couch together. Max put his arm around her. They were cute together. I knew they would like each other a lot. "Good, did you make up your mind already about the interview?" She asked softly, she probably hated to bring it up again but I knew she had to. "I am not gonna do it, I'm sorry Maya but Skye is right" she nodded. "She definitely is but they will publish it either way" I shrugged my shoulders. I had to come up with something to fix that. I promised Skye I would.

I jumped out of my car and ran to my mechanics. I was gonna start in P2 tomorrow. Behind Verstappen. I definitely had a chance to win my home race. I would do anything to win it.
Not much later I was changing into normal clothes. Max F. was laying on the couch of my drivers room. I was just wearing jeans and a simple tshirt. "Let's go we will be late" Max said as he got up. I looked at him confused. "Late for what?" He rolled his eyes. "Verstappen asked us to go to his room remember" I sighed. I really wasn't in the mood for that. "Can't you go alone?" I said as I put my cap on my head. He rolled his eyes as he grabbed the cap and threw it away. "No and no cap today please" I quickly fixed my curls as I looked at him. What was going on with him today?
Not much later we were standing in front of Max's door. I knocked a few times but it didn't take long for him to open the door. "Thank you both for coming" he smiled as he looked at us. "I have to talk to you real quick" he pointed at Max as he walked out of the room. "Lando you can go inside already. We will be there soon" I shrugged my shoulders as I walked in his room.
I looked around. This definitely wasn't his room. There were no clothes or other things laying around. "Hi Lando" I quickly looked up. I would always recognize that voice. My heart stopped for a quick second as I looked into her eyes.
