CHAPTER 5

After two hours of listening to lectures, finally the siren rang for break. Usually all of the PG students spend their break time in the department canteen where some would have their breakfast if they missed, others would hangout or students like Zayn would be working something on their laptops.

Everyone were leaving the classroom.

'I am going to cafe, will have my breakfast with Amy', Liam informed Zayn and Harry while leaving. Harry nodded at him while Zayn was expressionless.

'oh god, why is he so mad?!!', Harry thought to himself.

'We'll go near auditorium', Zayn said to Harry who nodded in return.

They packed their bags and while leaving were blocked by Louis.

'Where are you guys going?'

'We have some work', Harry replied hesitating.

'What work?', Louis asked smirking

'We want to discuss about the research Louis. We both will be doing it together', Zayn said getting irritated. Harry was afraid now as to how will he manage to be alone with him.

'Now if you will excuse us', Zayn said.

'fine, you can leave. But I know the real purpose', Louis replied laughing then stepped aside and moved to where Niall was sitting. Zayn rolled his eyes and walked out of the class with Harry behind him.

They reached the auditorium. Zayn chose the bench that was at a corner. The place was pretty deserted. They sat such that they were both facing each other. Harry was fidgeting his fingers trying to avoid Zayn. Zayn studied his face for a moment then put his finger on Harry's chin and lifted his face such that he was facing him.

'Don't lower your head. You get it?'

Harry nodded.

'why did they meet you?'

Harry gave a questioning look.

'your teammates', Zayn answered

'As I said earlier, I was coming to department and we crossed paths...', he looked at Zayn's expressionless face and paused for a moment.

'go on'

'ye-yeah. They informed about upcoming events. And asked for suggestions. That's it.'

Zayn did not say anything again.

'I was about to text you when I met them, believe me'.

After few moments of silence, Zayn said

'Those girls were drooling over you. They didn't look like they were listening to your suggestions'.

Harry thought for a second

'Ohhh, so that made you mad?. Thank god!, I thought you would end our friendship. I was so confused you know. You giving me that intimidating look.'

'Harreh. This is not my answer'.

Harry got all normal now.

'you see, I was chosen as leader of ELITES in my final year. Along with my dancing skills I am a good teacher. I was giving them some tips.'

Zayn hummed at him for the first time. Harry again thought for few seconds.

'Wait a minute, oh my god!!!, You were mad at them because you were jealous?? Oh god, it means you are into men. And most importantly you like me!!!' Harry said excitedly standing up from his place.

Zayn adored his cuteness. And most importantly his question about harry being into men was answered by his behaviour.

'oh my god, you like me', He said once again excitedly.

Zayn took hold of his hand and said

'calm down', making him sit.

Harry was back to his bubbly, happy mood. He did not care about Zayn's mood as he was happy about his behaviour.

As Harry sat down, Zayn placed his hand on Harry's thigh. He gave a little squeeze to get Harry's attention. Harry gasped at sudden touch and tried to anticipate Zayn's next move.

'I don't like dragging things. So here it is.
Yes, I like you. I like you a lot Harreh'.

Harry was pleased listening to that statement.

'I wanted to know if you are into men. But the way you acted just now, and the way you act in front of me is the answer to my curiosity since day one', Zayn finished happily.

Harry was a blushing mess.

'Even you acted differently', Harry retorted.

'I did and I agree', Zayn said smirking. Harry just hummed.

'So Harry', Zayn said and Harry looked  eagerly at him. Zayn chuckled at him then continued.

'I want you to go on a date with me. Will you?'

Harry was happy was an understatement. He was deeply attracted to Zayn since day one. He immediately nodded his head saying 'yes yes, I will'.

Zayn smiled at him, then took his hand and kissed his knuckles. Harry smiled at that.

After few moments,

'So you were jealous huh?!', Harry asked with a smug face.

Zayn ignored his expression and just hummed.

'I knew it all along, was waiting for your response you know', Harry said looking satisfied.

'Oh yeah. So that little scared face you had was your thoughts about me getting jealous huh?', Zayn asked him, while his hands snaking around Harry's torso dragging him closer to where he was sitting.

'um, um. I-I wasn't scared of you' Harry lied getting nervous.

'is it?. So you were fine all the time, fidgeting your fingers, trying to convince me about texting and all. Huh?', Zayn asked again, in a serious tone. This time pinching his waist slightly.

Harry squeaked at that but did not reply anything. So Zayn twisted his fingers causing more pain.

'Fine, yes. I was afraid', Harry whined, putting his hand on Zayn's that were pinching.

Zayn loved his expressions. He smiled at him and slowed down twisting of his fingers. Harry was pouting at him as Zayn looked satisfied with his answer.

'So you will make sure to reply to my messages now onwards. Right Harreh?' Hands still on the waist.

'Yes, I will', Harry replied not wanting more pinching.

'good', Zayn said removing his hands from his waist.

'by the way, you look gorgeous today',

'thanks', Harry said blushing, trying to look anywhere but Zayn but failed.

'Let's go back, shall we?', Zayn asked chuckling and Harry nodded

They were walking back

'So when are we going to date? Where are we going?', Harry began asking questions

'I'll let you know soon'

'Come on Zayn, you can tell me now' Harry whined at him to which Zayn gave him a look which made him shut his mouth immediately.

'fine', Harry replied.

'Meanie', he mumbled as they made their way back to department.
