Nobody needs to know (Neteyam x aonung)

Chapter 6

The boys sat for a while, Neteyam's head in the crook of Aonung's neck while he played with the boy's hair. "I love your hair when it's down," Neteyam whispered into his neck. "It's so pretty."

"D'you wanna know something," Neteyam nods to the boy, "people used to get me mixed with Tsireya whenever I had my hair down."
"Really?"
"Mhm," Aonung nods to him.

A small and soft giggle can be heard from Neteyam as he digs his head deeper into the other's neck. He put his arms around Aonung's neck as his eyes began to close softly. Aonung chuckled at the sleeping boy on his shoulder.

It was far past eclipse as Aonung picked up the sleeping boy to take him back to his hut. He didn't expect anyone in the Sully hut to be awake when he walked in but Kiri was still sat up on her bed watching as he entered.

She stared him down as he give her a nervous smile while laying Neteyam on his own bed.

"We will talk about this in the morning," Kiri whispered to the boy as he continued to look at Neteyam sleeping peacefully. He looked towards her, nodding before exiting the hut.

Aonung laid in his bed unable to sleep as he realised he had let Kiri see him bringing Neteyam back to their hut. He felt guilty, almost as if he had broken the boy's trust in doing so.

Morning came sooner than Aonung wanted it to as he made his way over to the Sully's hut.

All of the Sullys were still in their hut when Aonung arrived. Kiri immediately looked over at him as he stood in the doorway. She grabbed Neteyam's upper arm and dragged him out, grabbing Aonung's arm in the process.

She dragged them to the end of the pier before forcing them to sit down. Neteyam had no idea what was going on as he looked at Aonung with a confused look on his face. The other boy just looked down at his lap as Kiri stared the boys down with her hands on her hips.

Neteyam looked back up at Kiri to try and figure out what was going on. Aonung also looked up with a guilt ridden face.

"So what's going on with the two of you?"
"What? Nothing is going on. What are you going on about?" Neteyam's answer was frantic as he stumbled over his words. "Well why did I find Aonung bringing you into the hut last night asleep, far past eclipse as well."
"He just fell asleep is all."
"Yea sure, as if I'm buying that."
"But it's the truth." Aonung tries to explain but Neteyam cuts him off. "Alright, alright. Fine, me and Aonung are dating and we have been meeting up everyday at sunset to have time to ourselves. We haven't made anything official because I didn't want to."

"Does he make you happy?" The question was unexpected to neteyam, he kind of thought she would ridicule him. "Very."
"Than it's okay with me and Neteyam I'm happy for you." She pats his head before pulling him into a hug. "Aonung if you ever break his heart I will gut you alive, got it?"
"Yep."

Kiri would be so overprotective of her brother and no one can convince me otherwise.
