Once she had the enchiladas made and in the oven to bake, she set the table and poured herself a glass of sweet tea for herself. Chibs just smiled as she finished up dinner. The rain seemed to be coming down even harder as the pair stood in silence waiting on the enchiladas to be ready. He watched as she took the pan out of the oven and carefully walked to the dining table. He moved to have a seat and wait for her. She brought her glass and a spatula. Since she'd been kind enough to cook, he let her dig in first. She dug out two enchiladas then handed the spatula over to her companion. He couldn't take it anymore and finally had to ask what had been bugging him.

"So, lass. Why did you really move from your hometown? Ya said ya needed a change o' scenery?" Chibs asked.

"Well. The truth is once I hit the lottery, after my family giving shit for playing each week, they all began bugging me to borrow money. People who borrowed money before and never paid me back in small amounts were now asking for large amounts. I knew I'd never see my money again and I was already tired of being asked all the time for loans.

I decided to move somewhere no one knew I'd won the lottery and start my life over. If I loaned out money it would be because I wanted to, not because they thought I should be obligated to, ya know? It's why I didn't want Jax to let everyone else know I'd won the lottery. Not that I really expect any of you to start bumming money from me every week or something." Ashka explained.

"Ah, I see. Makes sense, love." Chibs smiled at her, "And we're still very grateful you were kind enough t' loan us what was needed t' pay the Irish."

"It's ok. It was my decision to loan it to you." She smiled back.

"Are you still liking Charming?" He inquired.

"So far." She grinned making him grin back at her.

"This is delicious. Where did you learn t' cook?" He asked.

"My grandmother and mother mostly. I get recipes online a lot as well but it was them two that really taught me all I know about cooking and baking and canning." She answered.

"You should do some baking and bring it t' the clubhouse. You'll be everyone's best friend then!" He laughed, "Bobby is our resident baker and brings in goodies sometimes."

"I'll have to do that then. My mother says I make some heavenly banana pudding." She laughed, eyes twinkling as she did.

"That would be lovely, lass." Chibs stated.

The rest of dinner was spent in talking about food. She told him to make his way into the living room while she cleaned up from dinner. She put away all the leftovers, wiped down the stove, counters, and dining table, and got the dishwasher going before she went to put his clothes in the dryer to dry out. He was sitting on her couch waiting patiently for her to return when she entered the living room with her tea glass. She sat down at the other end of the couch and turned her body towards him. He couldn't believe she was as young as she was when he asked her how old she was. She giggled and said she'd gone off to college right after she graduated high school. They chatted about their childhoods and what they were like as teens. She loved hearing about his time abroad and stated she wished she could visit Scotland and Ireland someday making him smile.

Around midnight, she began to yawn. Not wanting him to get out in the heavy downpour, she offered to let him stay in one of her guest rooms. He quickly, and happily, took up the offer. She walked him down the hall to the bedrooms and let him pick which room he wanted to stay in. He chose the one right across from the master suite. She bid him a goodnight before he pulled her into his arms and crashed his lips to hers. He thanked her for the wonderful evening and fabulous meal making her blush and tell him it was her pleasure. He watched as she walked to her room and shut the door before sighing and walking into his room. She was too classy to just let someone sleep in bed with her. It was just something else that made him want her!
