A few weeks later and the club had come into some money. Jax had Bobby dividing it up for the club members. He told his F/O to keep ten grand out so they could start to repay Ashka for her generosity. Bobby nodded his head before Jax went to find Chibs. He asked the medic if he'd call Ashka and ask her to come to the clubhouse when she got off work. The Scotsman said he would and wondered why Jax wanted to see her. As far as he knew, she hadn't done anything wrong or had insulted anyone in the club.

Chibs: hey love, would ya mind coming to the clubhouse when ya get off work?

It was an unusual request and Ashka was wondering what he needed with her.

Ashka: sure. Why?

Chibs: idk, Jax wants to see you. I'll see ya then.

She wondered why Jax of all people wanted to see her. Had she insulted one of the bikers somehow? Had she done something wrong? It was curious and she was a bit nervous about getting off work and heading over to their clubhouse. The day went by faster than she thought it would and before long she was clocking out to go home. She bid her coworkers a good evening then walked out to her SUV. As promised, she stopped by the T-M garage before going home. Chibs was sitting on the picnic table by the clubhouse waiting for her to arrive smoking a cigarette.

He pulled her into a tight hug when she was within arms' reach making her smile. He did give good hugs, she had to concede. Leading her into the clubhouse, a feeling of dread washed over her. The dimly lit clubhouse was full of smoke as several bikers were already there and just chattering away about this and that. Chibs pulled her to a table where Jax and Bobby were sitting together. The blond saw them walk up and smiled warmly at her making her smile back. Seeing him in a good mood seemed to ease some of her apprehension some.

"Good afternoon, Ashka!" Jax stated.

"Afternoon fellas!" She smiled back.

"I told you we'd pay you back from loaning us all that money as soon as we could. It may not be much but here's ten grand that we can give you today." Jax explained looking over at Bobby.

She watched as Bobby pulled a stack of bills out of the inside of his leather vest, his kutte as she remembered Chibs telling her it was called, and handing it over to her.

"Oh wow. Thank you so much." She exclaimed.

"We gotta thank you, Darlin'. You helped us more than you realize. When we make promises, we never go back on our word." Jax smiled at her.

The small group chatted for a little while. Tig and Quinn walked in tired and hungry from the long day at the garage. She still hadn't had any of the bikers other than Chibs over for dinner. Tig eyed her up when he finally noticed she was there. Seeing her talking to his Prez and F/O, he thought better of interrupting the conversation. She finally bid Jax and Bobby a good evening before turning to Chibs. She invited him over for dinner making him smile. Tig heard the conversation and made his way over. He asked if that night was a good night for him and Quinn to join them for dinner. She laughed and said it was ok. Chibs still wasn't thrilled at having Tig near his woman. She told Chibs to bring whoever was coming to dinner whenever he decided to come over. She was heading home to start dinner preparations. He promised they'd be there soon before pulling her in for a tight hug and soft kiss. She waved at Tig and Quinn who were both eager to try her cooking. Her baking was definitely as good as Gemma's but cooking an actual meal was a whole other ballgame.

As she drove home, she began thinking about what to make for the bikers that were coming over to her house. After much debate with herself, she opted for chicken fried steaks with homemade gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and sweet cornbread. It would be a good, hearty meal for them. At least she hoped. Around six, Chibs told Tig and Quinn that if they were wanting to eat at Ashka's house to follow him. Jax debated on going but opted to just head home to spend some time with his boys instead. The blond couldn't wait to hear how the night went the following day! The trio of bikers walked out to their bikes where Tig and Quinn followed the medic through town to a modest neighborhood. Chibs parked in the driveway next to her SUV while the other two parked by the curb. Chibs waited for them before knocking on the door like a gentleman. She opened up the door with a smile making Tig smile too. Like a good hostess, she offered drinks to the trio and apologized and said she didn't keep beer in the house. All took the offer of a glass of sweet tea instead. As she was fetching their drinks, Tig and Quinn took the opportunity to look around her living room.
