Jax called for church and waited for everyone to find their seats. Most were confused since they didn't think they had any problems with any other clubs. Once everyone had been seated and the chapel doors closed, Jax looked over to Chibs and had him explain what had transpired with the young lady who'd come in for a tire change. Chibs took a deep breath and looked at his brothers.

"Apparently while she was out in town, she was run off the road by four bikers. She couldn't tell who they 'ere or see any logos on their bikes because she 'as trying t' keep from driving into the ditch." Chibs explained.

"Who would be driving so recklessly through Charming?" Opie inquired.

"I don't know. That's what we need to figure out." Jax stated, "I don't appreciate the disrespect to our townspeople. She got a flat tire because of it but who knows how bad it could get next time."

"Aye. We need t' figure out 'ho they are quickly." Chibs added in, thankful she hadn't been hurt during the altercation.

"The Mayans wouldn't be driving so recklessly. And there's no reason for them to be riding through town." Quinn stated.

"I don't think it was them either. There is that new club that just popped up in Modesto. It might've been them." Jax lit a cigarette before taking a puff.

"Opie and I can ride out and see what we can figure out about them." Tig offered.

"Do that. Bobby, go talk to Alvarez and see what he had to say. Maybe they're having troubles too. Quinn, you and Ratboy go talk to the Niners." Jax stated before slamming the gavel down.

"Does this girl need protection?" Opie asked as everyone began standing up.

"I don't think she's in danger yet. I think it was a one-time thing." Jax stated making Chibs sigh.

He'd hate for her to be in danger because of him or the club. She didn't deserve that. He, Jax, and Juice got back to work at the garage while everyone else went out on their missions. Ashka headed straight home after getting her tire fixed. It was close to lunchtime so she popped in a frozen pizza in the oven and poured herself a glass of sweet tea before heading back into the living room to finish the movie she'd started. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary other than being run off the road earlier. She'd gotten so into her movie, it startled her when the oven timer dinged. Laughing at herself, she got up to take the pizza out of the oven and slice it up. The rest of her day was spent on her sofa watching movies and relaxing after the hectic work week she'd had. She was due in court the following week for a chronic kleptomaniac. Her boss was sure they had a solid case to put this person in jail for an extended amount of time.

She hadn't thought about Chibs or of being run off the road the rest of the weekend. Her job came first and everything else came second. Monday rolled around and she was mentally preparing herself for court. She had a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon along with her strong cup of coffee. Her boss was sure of their win making her feel more confident in the research and preparation she'd done for this case. She still wasn't going to court by herself as her boss was still feeling her out, so to speak despite her good reviews from her previous employer. She was confident in her abilities and how well she articulated things. The judge came out and everyone stood up in respect. She took a few deep breaths as they all sat down. This wasn't her biggest case she'd ever tried but she was always nervous went she went to trial with her boss.

Her boss was very happy with the way Ashka laid out the case for the judge and jury. It made sense and they had plenty of evidence against the defendant. The jury only debated about two hours before coming back with a guilty verdict. It made Ashka feel like she was on top of the world when she won a case. Her boss told her what a great job she'd done making her smile and thank him as they gathered their materials before leaving the courtroom. He told her he'd see her in the office the following day before they parted ways in the parking lot. She was in such a good mood, she didn't want to make dinner for herself. Tonight she stopped by the little diner she'd eaten at on several occasions. When she pulled in, she noted several bikes parked in the lot as well. She shrugged as she made her way to the door. Chibs looked up just in time to see Ashka walking in looking sexy and very confident as she walked through the diner to a booth at the back of the diner.
