Over the course of the next year, anytime the club had extra funds coming in, Jax made sure to throw some money Ashka's way so they could pay her back for what she'd loaned them. Every Wednesday and Friday night, Chibs was at her house for dinner. Saturday nights he took her to dinner before they spent the remainder of the evening at the clubhouse. Mondays she ordered in where they would watch movies together at her house. He'd never spent the night except for the one time because it was raining so hard and she didn't feel it was safe for him to be out in the rain. He felt very close and very protective of her and she found herself falling more and more for him and his accent. They had very deep conversations and had gotten to know one another very well over that year.

Tig was still attracted to her although he knew she was going to wind up being his brother's 'ol lady. She never acknowledged his advances and usually only paid attention to Chibs when they were at the clubhouse unless someone walked up and began chatting with her. There were several occasions when Ashka had cooked a large meal for all the bikers before a Saturday night party and it was always well received. Gemma loved her cooking and had told her so the second time she'd brought dinner to the clubhouse. The favorite meal was her enchiladas and the favorite dessert was her banana pudding. Seeing how she treated his brothers and how she liked spoiling them made Chibs fall even harder for the younger woman. She didn't look down on them for their illegal activities or what Lyla did for work. She cooked and baked for them when she didn't have to. She was friendly with everyone. Luckily they hadn't had any problems with the law that she had to deal with yet.

One Saturday evening, Ashka was bringing by some chicken fried steaks, sweet corn on the cob, green bean casserole, and sweet cornbread to the clubhouse before that night's party. Seeing Ashka's car pulling into the lot, Gemma left her office to help her bring in the food she'd brought. The younger woman noticed the crow tattoo on her chest and decided to ask about it. Hearing Ashka's curiosity about the crow tattoo made Gemma smile.

"It symbolizes a couple's relationship in the club. It means I'm someone's 'ol lady. No one messes with an 'ol lady. This tattoo gives you power and respect within the club, the other 'ol ladies, and the crow eaters." Gemma tried to explain.

"I see." Ashka stated.

"I'm surprised Chibs hasn't brought this up with you yet seeing as how close you two have gotten over the past year." Gemma stated bringing a blush to Ashka's face as they walked towards the clubhouse.

"I...uh...don't know." The younger woman stuttered making Gemma laugh.

They set the roasting pans on the bar then got them ready for the bikers to descend upon the food. Gemma had the prospects get paper plates and plasticware out as well serving spoons and a knife to cut the cornbread with. The prospect scurried off to fetch said items. Chibs clocked out then began walking into the clubhouse. He hadn't noticed Ashka arriving yet so when he walked into the clubhouse and found her chatting with Gemma while they stood by four roasting pans of food, he was a bit startled.

"Ashka, love! You didn't have t' cook for us!" He said as he pulled her in for a hug making Gemma smirk at the pair.

"I know but it's been a while since I did and I thought it would be a nice gesture." She replied hugging him back.

"Well, it's appreciated. What did ya make for us this evening?" He inquired.

"Chicken fried steaks, corn on the cob, green bean casserole, and cornbread." She replied.

"Sounds amazin', love." He stated before turning his attention to Gemma, "Are you staying to eat?"

"No. I'm meeting Nero at the house." Gemma replied before winking at Ashka then heading back to the shop office.
