She finally left the clubhouse and headed home. There was a lot to think about. She'd never gotten a tattoo before. This was something very personal and meant a lot in his world. Could she sport a tattoo signifying their relationship? Could she handle being his 'ol lady? She wasn't as outgoing when she went to work Monday morning. Her thoughts were all on what Chibs had asked her Saturday night. Even if she did accept his proposal, where would this tattoo go? It had to be somewhere she could hide it at work. She sometimes wore sleeveless shirts so it couldn't be on her arms. Then there was the issue of him moving into her house. Was she ready for that kind of commitment? She had gotten used to living alone. Could she really start living with a partner again? She sighed as she tried to focus on work. All her mind wanted to think about was the conversation she'd had with Chibs on Saturday night. He was very serious about her. She honestly didn't think they were that serious but they did spend quite a bit of time together.
During her lunch break, she ate alone in her office so she could continue mulling things over. She did like him. She liked their quiet evenings together. She enjoyed spending time with his crazy biker friends. She enjoyed cooking for them all and they all seemed to enjoy it when she cooked and baked for them. Could she handle it if he went back to jail? He'd told her they were into some illegal activities that sometimes led to prison time. Could she handle that? She sighed as she sat back in her chair. It would be a transition from living alone to living with someone again. Was she ready for that? That would mean she'd have to fix him breakfast in the morning. Do his laundry. Make lunch on the weekends when he was home. She already kept her house tidy so nothing would change there. Could she honestly get used to sleeping next to someone again? She was a big cuddler and that was something she had been missing in her life. Would he mind her cuddling with him at night?
She smiled at the thought of her cooking breakfast and him walking into the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee after getting dressed for the day. Sitting around after dinner watching TV or movies while cuddling on the couch. Cuddling in bed watching TV as they went to bed. She hoped he'd still take her out on dates. She was really liking being on the back of his bike. It took her a little while to get used to it but once she did, she really started liking it. Could she build a life with this man? Well, this man and his club? You want one, you get the other. After much debate with herself, she finally concluded she handle everything that came with being with him. She would open up her home to him if he wanted to move in. She would be a good 'ol lady if she could. He would be coming over that evening for their standard Monday night take-out and movies date. She'd talk to him then about what she decided.
On the way home later that evening, she began to wonder what this tattoo was going to look like and where they were going to place it. She couldn't have it on her arms because it needed to be hidden for work and she sometimes wore sleeveless shirts to work. After she got home and slid out of her shoes, she went to order their dinner for the night. Chinese from the local Chinese restaurant in town to be delivered at a specific time. She went to take a quick shower before dressing in her PJ's. Long black cotton lounge pants and a black tank top. Soft and comfortable! She already had her money sitting out for the delivery guy. Shortly before Chibs arrived, their food arrived. She had it all spread out on the coffee table as well as two plates, silverware, and two glasses of sweet tea. Everything was all ready all she was waiting on was her companion. When there came a knock at the door, she smiled. Seeing her made his day better. It had been a rough day for all the bikers and he couldn't wait to get off work so he could see her.
"It's so good to see you, love. Been a rough day." He stated as he tightly hugged her making her chuckle.
"Dinner's here and there's something I want to talk to you about." She said as they pulled apart and walked into the living room.
