Are we there yet?

January 11th 1993, Burbank, C.A.

Me and the kids sat on the sofa watching Full House while we waited on Bobby to come pick us up.

He called me earlier this week and told me he wanted to take them to see the new '3 ninjas knuckle up' movie and asked if I wanted to come too.. And so I said yes, besides, our kids love seeing us together.

Ding!

"Mama, daddy's at the door!!" Chris jolted up as I turned the tv off then went and got the door

"It daddy." Renée excitedly smiled getting down from the couch

"Hey!" Bobby said in his usual happy-go-lucky manner giving me a hug

"Hi." I lightly chuckled hugging back then letting him in before closing the door

"DADDYY!!!" We pulled away as the kids came running to him making Bobby chuckle

"Hey daddy's babies." He knelt down and hugged them before kissing their heads

"Are we ready to go watch the new 3 ninjas movie?" Bobby asked with a grin

"YEAH." The boys yelled grinning while Renée touched his mustache and giggled nodding

I shook my head with a smile

I love how they lighten up around him.

"Alright then let's get going." Bobby said picking Renée up

"Daddy can we drive?" Christian asked as we looked at him, & standing beside him was Bobby Jr jingling his daddy's keys in his hand.

"Huh? How you get those June?" Bobby asked playfully, making Jr shrug while flashing his little mischievous smile he'd grown accustomed to.

And before we knew it Christian snatched the keys and ran out to the car with Jr following shortly behind.

"Christian!" I shouted wide eyed as I saw some cars passing by

Bobby quickly gave me Renée then ran out and stopped in front of his car's door taking back his keys.

"Uhn uhn uhn, maybe some other time little Bobby." He said as Christian frowned

I sighed relieved then got my purse and walked out.

"But daddyyy." I heard Chris whine as I locked the front door

"Mommy pwetty." Renée said with a cute grin as she lightly tugged at one of my earrings

"Aww thank you momma's baby." I kissed her forehead then walked out to the car

"Not now but—" Bobby stopped to whisper something in Christian's ear

"Okay?" He asked pulling away and Chris instantly nodded in excitement

Bobby then unlocked the car and I handed him Renée back watching as the boys got in and sat on their booster seats.

I leaned over and buckled Christian up first then Bobby Jr.

"Ow." I heard Bobby lightly wince as I finished and turned to see Renée tugging on his mustache while giggling and softly laughing
