"Tina how do I look?" I ask turning around to face my cousin

"You look good, don't worry you're gonna do great." She grins reassuringly

"You think so?" I ask with a nervous look

"Yes, and if they think otherwise then screw them, their loss." She says as I nod

"Y/n hurry up." I hear my other cousin Tommy say from the other side of the door

"Wish me luck." I sigh

"Go go go." Tina says shooing me with a grin as I nod opening the door

"Alright I'm ready." I say looking up at him

"Oh, well let's go." He says and I nod as we start walking downstairs

"Wait, wait, wait come here." I hear aunt Voula say making us stop as she quickly comes up to us

"Good luck darling, you're gonna do just fine." She says cupping my face with a grin

"Mom, we have to go or else she'll be late." Tommy says in a hurry

"Thank you theía (Greek for aunt)." I smile

"Opa Tommy why you always in rush, ai." She says taking her hands off and walking behind us to the front door.

"Bye aunt Voula, love you." I say giving her a quick hug and so does Tommy

We then walk to his car and he unlocks it for us to get in.

"Make sure nobody give you evil eye." I hear Aunt Voula loudly say as I buckle up

"Mom, we all know the evil eye thing isn't real!" Tommy shouts back with a chuckle

"Say that again." She warns taking her slipper off shaking it in her hand then aiming at the car

"Okay okay it's real, it's real." Tommy says quickly driving off as we laugh

"Tommyy that was close!" I say looking at him

"I know right, she has to chill on that slipper stuff though." He says shaking his head as I turn the radio up a little and 'One Bad Apple' by The Osmonds come on.

I shoot a smirk at Tommy who quickly looks at the radio putting his hand on it and messing around with it, accidentally taking it off then forcefully popping it back in its' place and changing the station.

"Oh I thought you still liked the Osmonds?" I giggle

"No I do not, be quiet pookie." He says making me laugh then grin

Just then "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath came on as Tommy stopped at a red light. I started dancing in my seat as he rolled his window down a little and banged on the steering wheel.

"Didn't bring my woman 'cause she, couldn't help me with my mind." We start singing along to the radio

"People think I'm insane because, I am frowning all the time!" We yell the last part in a rush of adrenaline as Tommy starts driving again

~ a while later ~

"You sure you can't stay?" I give him the puppy dog eyes

"No.. I have to go meet up with Nikki, we're planning on putting up a 'lead guitarist needed' add on newspapers." He says as I nodded

"Alright I'll call you when I'm ready to go home." I say as he nods and we give each other a quick hug

"Good luck, bye Pookie." He says with a grin as I get out from his car

"Bye Bubba, love you." I say closing the door

"Love you more." He says with a nod then starts driving off as I look around for a minute seeing a sign across the street that read 'La Canoga Park'z There lied a huge green area, you could even see the Calabasas country club and the golf carts from here.
