chapter nineteen: my first

I've been up since five in the morning and the little hand on the clock just touch nine. I woke up with a lot on my mind and thought watching movies in the living room would help me go to sleep. That definitely didn't help because so far I have seen two and finishing up the second one right now. As the credits were rolling I hear heavy footsteps connect with the stairwell and don't bother to turn my head.

"Baby how come you left me in the room by myself?"

"I couldn't sleep so I came down here to watch movies. Don't even try to say no invite because you were sleeping hard when I left."

"I wasn't."

"Baby you were calling the hogs last night with your snoring."

"Alright now that's enough."

"No let's talk about it because you be snoring in my ear every night."

"Well maybe if you would stop sucking my soul out of me I wouldn't be sleeping so hard."

"So you want me to stop giving you head?"

"Now wait a minute I didn't say all of that."

"So stop complaining", I pluck him in the forehead.

His hand viciously rubs that spot trying to make the pain loosen up.

Placing kisses all over his face, a cute giggle escapes his lips and I just pull back admiring him. This man has some beautiful features but my favorite are his lips, eyebrows, nose, and eyebrows...basically his whole face.

I most definitely think our kids will look like him but we won't know until that chapter in our lives happen.

"What are you thinking about in that pretty head of yours?"

"How our kids will look."

"I think they will look like me. Baby I'm not trying to be cocky or anything I just have stronger features."

"True", I smile, "how many kids would you want?"

"I want however many you want baby and however many the lord bless us with."

My mouth breaks into a wide smile and I kiss his lips. I'm so excited for our date tonight I just know he's going to do something special.

"You ready for our date tonight?"

"Of course I am but are you", I side eyed him.

"Girl now you know I'm ready I got a few things up my sleeve."

I squint my eyes because I want to know what does he have under those long sleeves he has. Tonight our parents are going over to their friend's cabin that's not too far from here so we're going to have the house to ourselves. On top of that Jordan is his grandparents' favorite so I overheard them tell him on the phone that we can get one bottle from their wine cellar. Just to make the night extra special am I right?

I am nervous as shit. My parents left for the night and I just got finished getting ready. My outfit was simple but still fancy for our date. Everything was black from my shoes to my button up. Nova decided on a black dress with black heels to match. Mr. Mitchell said since he wasn't here to take pictures, he wanted us to take some and send them to him. Pulling out the Pandora box from my pocket I stare at the ring I got her and pray that she likes it. I think she will I mean it's perfect to her liking. As I was waiting downstairs with the bouquet of flowers I picked up earlier, I hear her heels connect with each step. I immediately pull out my phone and start taking pictures so I can send them to her dad.
