Loak meets y/n

Lo'ak and his family arrived at the reefs on their Ikrans, causing a stir among the water people. Everyone gathered around to watch them as they dismounted, their eyes wide with curiosity.
Y/n swam up to the front of the crowd, curious to see what was going on. She spotted the forest people and was deeply confused by their features. They looked so different from the water people, with their five fingers and their demon blood.
She made her way through the crowd until she was standing in front of them. Lo'ak saw her and made eye contact, doing the "I see you" hand movement. Y/n responded by doing the same, but then flipped him off when he wasn't looking.
Lo'ak chuckled at her reaction, amused by her feistiness. He knew that she was the kind of woman who didn't take any crap and he respected her for it.
Y/n glared at him, not appreciating his humor. She didn't like being the center of attention and she wanted these strangers to leave her alone.
But as she looked into Lo'ak's eyes, she saw something that made her heart skip a beat. She saw kindness and understanding, and she couldn't look away.
She knew that this was the beginning of something special, something that would change her life forever.
