Dinner had been laid out in the castle's dining room with dishes filled to the brim with the finest cuisine you could ask for. Alcina Dimitrescu was pleased as usual to see that what remained of her undead servants never failed to deliver. She sat at the head of the long table with her glass of wine in a cup engraved with a pattern of silver swirls and her family's crest in the heart. Candles were lit in the centre of the table and her three daughters sat with her: Bela and Cassandra on her left and Daniela on her right.

Tonight's meal had fresh poultry from the hens that still wandered the village, a crispy loaf of bread, and salmon seasoned with basil. Alcina allowed the curtains in the dining room to be opened into the castle's courtyard but the windows had to remain closed for the safety of her daughters due to their vulnerability to the harsh cold. Although it seemed like normal food that they were eating, it was filled with Cadou and blood on the inside, Alcina's signature wine tasted more like the iron in the latter than it did of typical red wine. She sipped slowly letting it spread through her veins and eyed her daughters lovingly as they consumed their meals.

"So what happened at the meeting, mother?" Daniela asked as she took a bite slowly of her salmon. No matter how savage her daughters could be in the hunt, they weren't short of proper table manners for ladies.

Alcina sighed, she should have known her daughters would ask. A light rumble of thunder came from outside. A storm was coming and it was only a matter of a few hours before it hit. It seemed like it was miles away but the thunder was still audible even from the far East.

"Mother Miranda is growing suspicious of Heisenberg's activity and it's about damn time too. I'll never forget how satisfying it was to watch her approach him directly and demand to know the status of Emily Tempest,"

Bela giggled, "did he finally confess?"

"Sort of, but I suspected he was lying, so I made sure Miranda found out the truth," Alcina paused to eat a piece of blood-covered chicken. The food was messy to eat and she would certainly have to re-apply her lipstick later.

"Miranda needed a lot of convincing," she continued as her daughters suddenly paused their eating to listen to their mother's story.

"I stayed after yesterday's meeting and convinced her to visit Heisenberg's factory to see for herself what that bloke was up to and if his devotion truly lay elsewhere than her. I have yet to hear a response from her as to whether my suspicions were correct or not,"

Alcina had indeed been very persuasive, she recalled, her brief conversation with Miranda post-meeting had gone better than she anticipated. Miranda became anxious and had been pleased that Alcina had chosen to stay and listen as she vented to her about her greatest fears as she paced back and forth in the empty chapel as the other three lords had left and the Lycans were beginning to disperse. Alcina had remained in her chair, watching Miranda like a hawk with a concerned look on her face.

Dimitrescu, you're still here? Why am I not surprised? You seem to be the only one who understands my concerns. Emily Tempest is a threat, she is storm angel, a powerful creation awakened that should never have been. If she is to rise to power, she will destroy the ceremony, everything we know, this village will change forever and I cannot allow it to happen.  At first, I believed she would never reach us here because she was in the continent of North America but on that very night of the blizzard, I feared the worst of my fears had come true. That snowstorm from a few days ago, do you remember? It was a sign of her arrival, that she would soon close in on our location. I foresaw it all!

I orchestrated the Lycans to attack her on sight, they're so primitive they will attack anyone who does not follow me. Then Heisenberg intervened, which I did not expect. But since he did, I decided to let him finish the job. If what you're telling me is true that the storm angel still lives and Heisenberg has disobeyed me, then we must take action quickly! She must not live, especially if she is in Heisenberg's presence! Their power combined as one could result in devastating consequences for the rest of us! Do you understand?
