November 2, 2015 (Present Day)

It's been about a week since I last talked to Terrence, it probably doesn't help that I've been deliberately avoiding him.

He tries to catch up to me in the hallways but, he always looses me in the crowd. He always looks so dejected about it, almost makes me feel guilty.

Almost.

Ever since that damned brazer fought me last week, every fucking person wants to fight at Patrick's place. Most of them are just Hogs, that's what I call the people who come into the ring and can't fight for shit.

So I get money pretty easy, I told my dad I got a job and wanted to help him pay the bills. I know he doesn't like me doing it, he already feels like he hasn't been able to give me much now he feels like he's taking things away.

I want to be able to help my dad, he's been doing good at work and he's been sober for three days. I feel like maybe things are going to change.

Psh, yeah right. I blame Terrence for turning me into someone who believes shit like that.

He may be sober now but it could change, he could start drinking again. Though he has been kind of distant in a way. He just seems secretive, he could be sober because he got let go again and he needs to look good for his next job.

The possibilities are endless.

After I fed Flurry, who is sadly growing at an alarming rate. I rushed downstairs, I'm hoping I can get some father daughter time in today.

"Hey dad-What are you doing?" I asked coming to a halt when I saw him grabbing his keys.

"I have to work today, I thought I already told you this." He sighed looking like he was in a hurry.

"But..You don't work on Sundays." I frowned.

Ok no, I don't like not knowing stuff. I mean yea my dad can have privacy but I want to hang out with him today.

"Boss called and said they needed me today," He walked over and gave me a quick kiss on the forehead. "I promise sweetie we can watch a movie when I get home."

"Ok." I muttered, watching as he walked out the door and drive away. I sighed walking upstairs to get dressed, staying home is so boring.

Figure going to the cliff won't do any damage, its a hangout spot I guess for boys. They jump off and hope they don't die trying to prove who's manly and who isn't.

I've done it once, not by choice. One time in middle school Andrew and Bruce threw me off the cliff, they heard about me being a strong swimmer. They wanted to see if what they heard was true, luckily it was.

Deciding I wanted to ride my longboard I kissed Flurry goodbye, and jogged out the the door running into an unfamiliar wall.

I staggered back tripping over the door step, an arm wrapped around itself around my waist and another of my wrist. Only then did I realize it wasn't a wall I ran into, it was Terrence.

He helped me get properly balanced and his arm left my waist, keeping his hold on my wrist.

"Sorry." He muttered with a sheepish smile, scratching the back of his neck.

Old habits die hard, he used to do that before he moved.

"It's fine."

"Are you heading out?" He asked, stuffing his free hand in his pocket.
