The concert(3)-part five

We had been laying there for three more songs until Shane sat up and said "I think there's food backstage do you want to get some?"

I opened my eyes and sat up, I was hungry so my response was "sure!". He got up first and put his hand out. I looked up after realizing he was offering to help me and took his hand, standing up.

"Thanks" I managed to say while almost falling , he just laughed and nodded in response, leading the way to the snack bar.

Once we got in there I had seen a lot of other kids in the room. Most likely kids of the band members.

"Who's this?" a girl with dark hair, around our age asked Shane pointing at me " this is y/n,
Y/n, this is violet. She's Dave's daughter" Shane said introducing us to each other.

"Cool!" She said walking up to me and pulling me away towards the food, we were both laughing as she was dragging me.

I looked back at Shane who was still standing there I looked at him and shrugged, basically apologizing, though he just laughed and followed us.

Once we got to the food violet handed me a paper plate and we started to grab some of the snacks.

Right as I started to grab something Shane had just gotten over to where we were. I looked up at him and smiled, he gave a soft smile back at me.

I had grabbed my food and went up to a vending machine to get a soda, clicking on (y/f) soda and Shane had come up behind me and said "could you get me a coke?" I was a little startled because I didn't hear him but I tried my best to casually say "yeah" and grabbed him one.

We started walking over to where everyone else was sitting, two little girls playing with toys and other kids being fairly older then them.

'How many kids does this band have?' I thought to myself finishing a place to sit and ended up squeezed in the middle of violet and Shane.

"Should we watch a movie?" Violet suggested to the rest of the kids, who all seemed to agree.

She picked a horror movie.

I'll admit I love horror movie but I had seen this one as a kid and was fully traumatized.

It was the original nightmare on elm street. You can't blame me though, I was a little kid when my mom thought I'd be fine to watch it.

"Oh my god you suck violet" I said laughing she laughed back at me, but in a mischievous way, almost like she knew picking a horror would affect at least somebody.

She pressed play and half way through the movie a had half of my face under a blanket and my knees to my chest.

I had fully covered my face for a second to rub my eyes and of course the second I uncovered my eyes there was a jump scare.

I made a pathetic yelp and burrowed my face into the person next to me, forgetting if it was violet or Shane.

I felt a hand on my back and heard a familiar laugh from a certain boy.

I immediately felt my face flush with warmth and I picked up my head from the boys chest, his face visibly red but also trying to hide it.

I shrugged it off and towards the end of the movie we all decoded we needed a break.

Noah and Shane went to the little make shift kitchen there was and the rest of us stayed in the tv room.

I was mostly talking to violet since I only really knew her but we all turned our heads when we heard Noah yell, and very loudly too "WHAT?!"

It honestly scared all of us because of the movie we had just being trying to recover from.

Violet just rolled her eyes and kept talking to me but in the corner of my eye I saw Shane cover Noah's mouth.

And it may have been my mind playing games on me, but was Shane red?

I knew I was overthinking but I just kept thinking about what they could have been talking about until someone snapped in my face.

"Hellooo?? Earth to y/n???" Violet said still snapping in my face, I laughed and put my hand over hers to get her to stop snapping, and once she did I laughed again and said "sorry I was thinking"

"What u thinkin about?" She said giving me a sly smirk, how does she seem to catch on to everything so quickly??

"Nothingg" I said looking down to try and cover my now warm face.

" WHAT I THINK I KNOW" she suddenly yelled grabbing my shoulders, making everyone turn to look and us.

I felt my face get so much more hot per second , even Shane and know where giving us a confused look.

I accidentally made eye contact with Shane and then quickly looked away.

"COME ON" violet said pulling me by my wrist away from everyone else, I started laughing even though I had a bad feeling about what she was going to ask me.

Once we had gotten farther away from everyone she whisper yelled " do you like Shane?!?"

Shit.

"What??? NO!" I said screwing over my words. And screwing over trying to get that be any sense of believable to her.

" oh my god you so do!!!!" She said a bit louder this time and shaking my shoulders mores .

"Shut uppp.." I said defeated, and embarrassed.

"HAHA I KNEW ITTT!!!!!" She yelled, wha louder then the tone she originally had, loud enough for Shane, Noah and only two other kids to hear her yell.

"SHUSHhhhhh" I tried to yell but I covered her mouth and trailed off my words realizing we were getting stared at.

I just awkwardly smiled at them and then looked back at violet, uncovering her mouth.

She laughed again and started pulling me back to the tv room.

I knew this trip would be different than I expected.
