Pulse- Part Thirty-One

"𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅 𝐖𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃?" Angie suggested to us three.

"Do you sing?" Frankie asked her

"Yeah actually!" She said proud

"But.." she continued "I can't write my own material for the fucking life of me" she said disappointed

"We can just be a cover band" Danny mentioned

"If we are going to be a cover band we better be hella good, cause most cover bands are ass" Frankie half joked

"We can practice at my house, it's pretty clear since we just moved in, but I suggest setting up in the garage" I explained

"Yess" Angie said

"I have two sets of drums so I can bring one of them to keep at your house if that's fine" Danny explained

"I'll ask about it for sure, but the one thing we really need is a name for our band" I reminded the group

They all groaned

"I hate naming things" Angie complained

TIME SKIP!

We sat there for a while saying ideas but none of us liked them.

I thought for a while "OOO!" I exclaimed, they all perked up and looked at me

" what if we named it 'Pulse'?" I suggested

They all seemed to like it, sharing looks and nods and eventually all agreeing the band name would be Pulse

The bell rang saying lunch was over, we all got up and parted ways after making a group chat for the band

TIME SKIP!

I just got out of my last period and started to leave the building, as I was walking through the hallway I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders, using me as a booster.

I quickly turned around and saw that it was just Angie sneaking up on me.

"You scared the shit outta me bitch!" I said laughing and pushing her shoulder

"Sorryyy but I was thinking that I could walk home with you and we can talk more about the band?" She suggested

"Can Danny and Frankie not come?" I asked

"Oh wait yeah I should find them.. go wait outside! I'll be back!" She said before running off to go find Danny and Frankie

I walked out of the building and sat on an edge that separates the garden thing from the concrete pathway and just went on my phone, pretending to do something

I looked around at the people walking by and the random cop car parked in front of the school

My phone buzzed and I looked back down at it and saw Shane texted me

SHANE❤️

SHANE❤️: hey! Idk if schools out for you yet but ima guess it is so how are u?

I'm good! Few dumbasses here and there but I managed

OH AND!

I made some new friends and I think we're gonna start a cover band

I saw Angie, Frankie and Danny walking towards me which made me pretty sure they all wanted to come along

"You guys ready to walk almost a mile?" I asked sarcastically

"Oh god damnit" Frankie complained
