Brooklyn Baby vol.2 - Part 39

WE HAD EVENTUALLY gotten to the house and we all walked in.

Shane looked around the house for a second then I said "here follow me" and started walking over to my room

I opened the door and he walked in and looked around

"This is way better that your old room dude!" He said smiling and walking around

I smiled back and had started pointing out a few new things I had and then sat on my bed.

He walked over and sat down next to me and said

"How's school?"

"It's good, you know that I got my band, so their cool, our drummer kinda quit but he said he'll still play songs with us every so often, he just doesn't want to be in an actual band" I explained

He nodded along for a second then his eyes widened and he had a wide smile on his face.

"What??" I said laughing slightly

"I could be your new drummer" he recommended while putting his hands on my shoulders

"HELL YES." I said putting my hands on his shoulders also

I heard a knock at the front door and my mom answering it

"The bands here!" I said getting up and pulling him off the bed, he had a confused face

"Why?" He started getting up and following me

"You'll see" I had a wide smile on my face as I lead him out of my room to meet the band.

We walked through the hall and saw them standing by the door,talking to my mom and especially Taylor.

"That's our bassist Frankie, vocalist Angie, and former-ish drummer danny" I said introducing them all before running over to hug Annabelle (I do not know how I forgot to mention her earlier but let's just say I did😭🙏)

"Heyy" she said smiling and hugging me back, then over my shoulder saying to Shane "I'm gonna steal your girlfriend Shane" and I laughed to then turn around from the hug seeing Shane confused while he talks to the band.

I walked over there and widened my eyes at the band in a way that said 'go set up in the garage' so they all shared a quick look to make sure they all got it before walking away.

"Why'd they go in the garage?" Shane asked me

"That's just where we hangout most of the time"

"...why aren't we going in there too.?" he said confused

I hesitated for a moment trying to think of what to say

"Well" I thought for a quick second before saying "violet might be here soon so we can wait for them in here"

he thought for a second before shrugging and walking over to the living room and sitting down, so I followed shortly after him sitting down.

Me and Shane were sat next to each other on the couch while Annabelle was on the other one across from us as we talked.

As I was talking with Annabelle, Shane, who was on my right, lifted his left arm and wrapped it around my shoulder.

A few minutes passed by and there was a knock on the door, I shared a look with Shane before running up to the door to open it.

"VIOLET" I yelled hugging the girl at the door

She hugged me back and said "heyy"

"How've you been?!" She said excitedly
