My phone buzzed with the call from the reception. It must be Linda calling to inform me of my upcoming appointments for the day. Today was a bit different, I was looking forward for it.
"It's Alex." Her voice falters.

"Xander, wake up! Why isn't my baby waking up?" a middle-aged lady sobbed holding his hand. But no matter how loud the lady screamed, or how hard she cried, he remained unmoved and pale. Everyone around him was yelling and running around except me, I went stock still unable to feel anything.
"He needs oxygen, IV adrenaline, and a liter of saline wide open."
