"Ayden, do you really have to go for that charity dinner tonight? You have a shoot at 4am tomorrow..." James was trying to convince Ayden but to no avail.
"You know I have to show my support, James. Plus, I'm there as a volunteer, not an artiste or guest." Ayden knew what his manager was worried about but he had to be there.
"I'll drive you there and pick you up afterwards..." James offered.
"I can drive there myself. You get some rest, it's an early day for you tomorrow too..." Ayden assured his manager.
"But...you might run into fans or other forms of danger!" James was worried about Ayden's safety.
"It's a closed-door small event, no one knows I'm going to be there. I'll have my phone on the entire time so you can reach me, okay?" Ayden waved goodbye to the rest of his team.
"Call me if anything crops up!" James reluctantly watched his artiste leave.
"Hi Sister Emily, I'll be there in 30 minutes to help you..." Ayden threw his bag into the back seat of his car and drove off since he was already late.

"Sister Emily! Sorry I'm late..." Ayden gave the older woman a warm hug.
"It's okay, anak. We just started." Sister Emily smiled. It'd been a while since she saw Ayden.
"I'll just drop by and say hi to the other Sisters before joining you. The hall right?" Ayden waved before heading up the stairs.
"Ayden!" The Head Sister brightened when Ayden knocked and popped his head into her office.
"Officer Cardano reporting to Sister Elise for duty!" Ayden saluted the Head Sister of the center.
"My little troublemaker is now a superstar...Thank you for coming back every year to help, I know you've been packed recently." Sister Elise chuckled as she extended a hug to Ayden.
"Anything for my favourite ladies and angels. I'll head over to the Hall now or Sister Emily will make a public announcement for me..." Ayden promised to catch up with Sister Elise later.
"Anak, I need you to do me a big favour." Sister Emily pulled Ayden to the side after they were done setting up.
"I can do anything other than what I can't." Ayden said yes before Sister Emily even told him what she needed.
"We have a guest coming later but we don't have anyone to bring her around since one of the Sisters fell sick..." Sister Elise gave Ayden a knowing glance.
"Is the guest someone very important? What will happen if I screw up?" Ayden was afraid he would make a mistake.
"I haven't met her before but from what I've heard, she's really down-to-earth, sweet and easy to get along with. You'll be fine, anak." Sister Emily assured Ayden.
"That's a relief I guess. I'll try my best. When's she arriving?" Ayden wasn't sure what James would say if he found out but he couldn't say no to Sister Emily either.
"She should be arriving in 45 minutes, I'll text you when she does." Sister Emily checked her watch.
"Got it. I'll drop by the coffeeshop to grab everyone a coffee before the guest arrives." Ayden took orders from the employees and volunteers.
