[Aika x OC] Birthday Surprises

Return of Nat x Aika for Ate Aik's birthday <3

"Happy birthday, sunshine." Nat whispered as Aika stirred.

"Thank you, muscles. How long have you been awake?" Aika knew that Nat had set an alarm so he'd wake up earlier than her.

"Not long...about 10 minutes?" Nat looked at his phone. It was 5.30am in the morning.

"And what did you do for the last 10 minutes?" Aika wondered out loud.

"Lots of things. I looked at my entire world and was amazed at how beautiful she was. Then I prayed to God to thank him for creating my world." Nat hugged Aika and pressed a kiss on her forehead.

"A cheesy confession wasn't what I expected to start my birthday with but thank you." Aika cupped Nat's cheeks and gave him a peck.

"Birthday workout?" Nat handed Aika her workout clothes.

"You bet." Aika grinned. Morning workouts were an essential part of Aika's day and a special time the couple spent together.

"No way..." Aika's jaw dropped as they stepped into their home gym.

"A little birdie told me that you were eyeing this for a while..." Nat smiled.

"And you got it? It's expensive..." Aika had been looking at the compact machine that accommodated a range of arm exercises for months but it was a good 500 USD.

"I got it at a good price, sunshine." Nat assured.

"Thank you, muscles. You really do live up to your name." Aika was excited to give the machine a try.

"Are you okay? This isn't your usual load..." Nat noticed that Aika was only using 3 instead of her usual 6 metal plates.

"I'm good. I'm still a little giddy about it..." Aika assured Nat.

"Let me guess what's the plan for today..." Nat handed Aika a glass of water after their workout.

"Nothing..." The two echoed and laughed.

"You know me well..." Aika chuckled.

"Of course I do, sunshine." Nat winked.

"I mean, mama and the girls are calling at around 8am...we could make some breakfast afterwards and..." Aika couldn't think of anything she wanted to do after breakfast.

"And we'll decide after breakfast." Nat finished Aika's sentence.

"Sounds about right." Aika agreed.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATE!" Tricia and Jill's voice reverberated across the house.

"Matanda ka na, Aiks..." Atty Leni teased her panganay.

"Mama...I've been radiating tita energy for ages." Aika chuckled.

"Did you like our surprise, ate?" Jill grinned.

"Our? I thought Nat paid for it?" Aika raised an eyebrow.

"We told kuya about it. We deserve some credit." Jill retorted.

"We have something else for you though...check your doorstep." Tricia winked. Nat opened the door and spotted a package.

"Specially for our second mama, safe space and best ate ever." Jill and Tricia formed a heart with their hands.

"It's so pretty..." Aika unwrapped the present. It was a custom painting of Aika, Tricia and Jill.
