(Regina's POV)

God. That dream scared the hell out of me. It felt so real and it still hurts like it really is real.

"Regina, halika na, kain na tayo." Narda said as I approach the table.

Right, she cooked for us, I smiled at her as I sat at the chair opposite kung nasan siya, "mukhang masarap ah." I said and she smiled at me.

"para namang ngayon mo lang matitikman luto ko niyan." she says as she handed me the rice.

Hindi nga naman talaga first time, she used to cook for me din talaga years ago. And they were really really good food.

"thank you Narda." I said ng maibaba ko na 'yung kanin.

"let's pray muna?" I asked and she nodded at me sabay ngumiti.

After praying, we then started eating.

"hmm, you really make good food Narda." I said as I chew and enjoy the curry she made.

"thank you sa compliment Regina." she said and I smiled at her.

We were eating in silence, a very comfortable one when she suddenly spoke.

"so, ex mo pala si Brian?" she asked and I choked on my food.

"what?" I asked.

How on earth? Hindi ba panaginip lang 'yung kanina? Pano niya nalaman?

"itatanong ko pa ba ulit?" she asked after niyang uminom ng tubig. Her voice sounding different than her usual one.

Is this another dream? Am I stuck in a repetitive nightmare or something?

"so?" she asked looking at me straight in the eye.

I cleared my throat sabay tumigil sa pagkain.

"yes, how did you know?" I asked.

Hindi ako sigurado kung panaginip pa din 'to o totoo na, whether it's true or not, I have to be honest.

"he told me and you didn't, sabi mo sa'kin you waited for me to come back which means you lied to me since naging ex mo nga si Brian." she said sabay kumain ulit siya.

Are we going to talk about this like it's a very normal conversation?

"I..." what am I supposed to say?

"I'm sorry, yes, ex ko si Brian." I said, though alam na naman niya since he told her.

"pero pano niya sinabi sa'yo?" I asked coz Brian does not even know I'm courting Narda as well as the fact na kilala ko si Narda. So how?

"he was curious about sa taong gusto ko, pinahanap niya and he found out it's you." she said it so casually.

"he told me na ex-girlfriend ka niya." she added.

"so, what's you and Brian's story and why am I in between?" she asked habang kumakain pa din.

This is scaring me. The aura Narda is giving. It seems like hindi siya ang kausap ko.

Pero she needed answers, an honest one, and she deserves it.

"we were together before, he was not a good boyfriend. he's manipulative, pretentious, controlling, he sees me as someone below him and he does what he wants." I said, remembering all the times I spent with Brian.

"he reasons it's his way of showing his love for me.. I accepted it. sa tingin ko deserve ko din ang ganong treatment coz I am not worth the care and respect, it's what my mind said to me." I added.
