It had been a month since Brian got locked in jail. He pleaded he's just drunk and none of the things being accused of him is true. Though all the evidences say otherwise. It's safe to say that Brian will serve his time in jail and he'll rot there.

Regina is now back working once again and is still living with Narda. They haven't really made things official between them and yet they both came to terms that they really love each other. But they are still not open to being with each other, well, at least she isn't. She thinks it's not as easy as that. Hinihintay niya lang din na makahanap siya ng maayos na condo bago siya lumipat.

"Ali, I want you and Xandra to help me with this case. I don't think I'll be able to finish this now. I also have other cases I needed to look into." Regina tells him as she handed him a folder containing informations about the case. He accepted it and nodded yet he's still standing in front of her.

The woman's busy with all the piled up papers around her, pen in hand, she tries to find something only she knows what until she realized that Ali's still there.

"what?" she asks, sparing him a glance before going back to what she's doing.

"Regi. You're not fine." he said and she stopped whatever she's doing and looked at him.

"huh?" she asked, seemingly confused.

Ali sighed and put the folder on top of Regina's desk.

"I said, you're not fine." he repeated and Regina rolled her eyes at him.

"Ali, I am perfectly fine. Why are you saying I'm not?" she asked.

"uhuh? you're fine?" he asks and at that moment, Xandra entered her office.

"hey Regi." both Ali and Regi looked at her as she closed the door.

She then noticed some tension around the room as soon as she looked at the two.

"what's happening?" Xandra asked walking closer towards Regina's desk.

"well, Ali's telling me I'm not fine when I am doing perfectly fine." Regina told her as she stops beside Ali.

It was silence after that until Regina rolled her eyes at Xandra and groaned, "come on, even you think I'm not fine." she said and Xandra sighed.

"if you're really fine, then tell me what were you looking for out of these piles of paper huh?" Ali asked and Regina groaned. It's obvious she's really not having this conversation.

"my pen, duh? I need it to sign something." she says waving her hand and was shock seeing herself holding the pen all along.

She looked at Ali who looked back at her as if saying see? I'm right.

"what? I didn't know I'm holding it. People tend to forget these kind of things but it does not mean they're not fine, Ali." she said.

"but you don't forget things Regi, you always laugh at me whenever I forget my car keys at the office, you always laugh at Xandra whenever she forgets her phone inside the car." Ali tells her.

"look, Regi. It's not enough basis, we know..it's just that, we know you're not fine and it's not wrong if you just admit it and be open to us." Xandra tells her.

To say Regina is annoyed is an understatement, she hates this conversation.

"I said, I am fine." she says, repeating it for the nth time.

"now, if you both will excuse me, I have things to do." she said, hoping they just let her be.

And she's thankful they did.
