C.22: (Skip if you don't want to cry)

A year later

"You have everything you need Princess?" Regina heard her dad ask.

It had been a year since she came and did her therapy, at first, there's no progress being shown pero hindi naging mahirap, she wanted to get better, she wanted to let go and see more of the world, to move on and be healed kaya after a year, she was able to do it.

All throughout, hindi siya iniwan at pinabayaan ng dad niya. He really was there for her. Just like the old times.

Now, she's bound to go back and surprise her best friends and Narda.

She told them they'll not contact each other, and she sure did that part right. She did not give any news about herself to them, but then, she somehow found a way to know how they're all doing, thanks to her dad's help.

Ali and Xandra, still good lawyers with good records, the two really did take care of their firm. And they actually got together after months that she's gone. She does not know how it happened but she's happy for them two.

Narda is still taking good care of her hospital, she is a well-known one, news about her waiting for someone to come back is around, apparently, dahil magaling na doctor, mayaman, matalino, maganda and mabait si Narda, maraming nagtangkang manligaw sa kanya, not only some people from their town but also galing sa ibang lugar. She really made it known to everyone na siya ang hinihintay nito.

And she regretted not talking to Narda, sa isip niya ay baka nagsisisi itong itinali niya ang sarili sa pag-asang babalik siya. But then again, it's not just a simple hope kasi gagawin niya naman talaga, it's a promise she's so willing to keep. She's going back. Finally.

"yes dad, I have everything with me na. how about you dad?" she asked as she went close to him.

"already have everything with me na din anak, we should go na. mahuhuli tayo sa flight." he said as he helped her with her things.

Regina cannot wait to finally be home.

Narda is busy watching tv in her living room.

Free time niya ngayon and all she wanna do is rest and just be in the comfort of her house.

That and the fact na every corner of her house actually reminds her of Regina.

She misses the woman so much she actually feels like she's losing her mind. Paulit-ulit niya nalang inaalala ang memories kasama si Regina. She stays with things that reminds her of the woman.

Of course she's not crazy. She just miss her.

But all she can do is honor Regina's request. Ang hindi sila mag-usap. Kaya maghihintay siya, just like what the woman promised her na babalik ito dahil alam niyang tutuparin 'yun ni Regina.

Unknown number calling....

She groaned as she picks her phone up, unknown number flashing on her screen.

She thinks it's Regina, or maybe her mind's just playing tricks on her since she misses the woman so much. Yet she still answered the call.

And she is glad for that.

"Narda?" she heard from the other side of the call, a voice too familiar for her.

"Regina." she chokes out, feeling like she's unable to breathe.

"hi, ahm, how are you?" the woman asks her from the other line and she feels herself crying.

"you're back?!" she manages to say as she heard laughter from the other line.
