St. Mary's hospital
Lydia woke up. She was wearing a hospital gown. I Vs broke her skin to get to her blue veins. She was confused. Lydia was frustrated. She got up and walked out. The hospital gown did not cover much of her body. She started walking down the hallway. She looked all around her. Behind, in front and even at the ceiling. It was dark and cold. It seemed to be late at night. She felt a touch on her arm. She turned around immediately in fear. No one was there. Even though her mind told her that someone was there; her heart felt a presence. Lydia shook her head as tears began to stream down her roses cheeks. She started walking down the emergency stairs. The lights went out. She paused and started weeping. She was in total darkness. Even the lights in the hallway went out. She sat down on a step. It was wet. She started freaking out. "AHH WHAT THE FU-" The lights came back on. She saw blood on her gown. But nothing on the step. She could not help but feel scared, but she needed to get out of the emergency exit. She slowly closed the door and continued down the hallway. The silent became loud. The air became chilly. The hallway became more narrow. The darkness hovered over her as she passed each room. There were no patients. There were no staff. There were no way she was going to stay at the hospital that night. She anxiously pushed the elevator button. She waited while nervously looking both ways down the hall. She heard moaning. An uncomfortable screeching sound. The elevator was slowly approaching. "HURRY HURRY!" She started pounding the elevator button. She heard it stop and the floor below. The door opened. She wonder who could it be down there? She went back to the emergency exit stairs. She started running down to the floor below. Lydia stopped at the door. She looked through the window. Still, empty. "Shit." She fussed at herself. She slowly crept open the door. The smell of hospital became stronger. And the smell of sickness started to die down. The most cleanest floor throughout the whole hospital. She then wondered what kind of hospital is this?
"Hello?" She knew she messed up. Because, in every scary movie, every person that asked who was there? Or hello? Died. She picked up the random fork that laid in the floor. She nervously searched every room. No one appeared. She then heard that sound again. It was coming from upstairs. She ran to the emergency exit. Down. Down. Down. To the lobby she went. She started crying with happy tears like every person in EVERY scary movie, who thought this was the happy ending. She ran out the doors and continued down the street. All of the street lights blew out. "HELP ME SOMEBODY!!!" Someone ran out of their house to the streets. "HEY!" It was man. He smelt of innocence. She gave him her trust. He took her in. As she sat on the couch he made her some warm tea. He was a tall man with light brown hair. His eyes were brown but dark. Almost black. He was muscular but not too muscular. He stood about 6 ft. His pajamas read "unemployed". His body language read "lonely". He was fairly attractive. And very soft spoken. "So. Where were you running from?" She grew shaky. Nowhere left to run her paranoid. She took small sips of the tea. She looked all around. She would check out the window every five seconds just to make sure no one was following her. "Hey everything is alright. Calm." He grabbed her fragile hands. They were cold and soft. And pale. "Now. Tell me about yourself." She swallowed the fear in her throat. "My name is Lydia. I am 22 years old. A college student. Still. I am an American if it isn't obvious. And I was running from the hospital down the street." He looked confused. "There isn't a hospital down the street. Especially, THAT way. What are you talking about?" She looked out the window and saw nothing but a dead end with houses blocking the way she "came" from. "Oh my god." She was not calling his name. It was in vain. "I swear to you there was a hospital down that way." "Babe, there is not a hospital down there. You might've came through the yard of those empty houses down there. But, I assure you there is no hospital down that way." She covered her ears with her hands. She closed her eyes. She opened her eyes and she was in the hospital bed. "Good morning darling. Are you hungry?" She sat up. Her hands were strapped to the bed. "Look, don't hurt yourself sweetie. I will get that for you." What would she get for her? She was not reaching for anything. The nurse bent down for something and did not come back up. "Hello?" She tried to get out of the straps. Her arms were numb. Nothing would even budge. "HEEELLLP!" "AHHHH!"
