Lydia rushed to see her shrink.
"Hi, name please?" The secretary looked at her awaiting for her name. For some reason, Lydia could not speak. It was like someone was taking over her body. When her mouth opened, she spoke "Samantha." The secretary waited for her to tell her last name. "Samantha?" Lydia shook her head. "Sorry I meant Lydia Doubt." "Oh Lydia we have you down for tomorrow not today doll." "I know it is an emergency!" The secretary understood. "Oh alright we will get you in in a sec. have a seat." Lydia was in her robe and slippers awaiting for her shrink to call her back. The more the wait the worse she felt inside. The guilt was never going to go away. Lydia was so scared that she could not blink. Her pale face became cold to match the color. She gripped the arms of the chair harshly. She needed something to hold on to. "Lydia?" She blinked when she heard her name. She got up and followed her shrink into a room. The smell of the room made her calm down a bit. "So.. Lydia what has been going on lately?" Lydia continuously looked around the room as if she was being watched. "Um.. my dreams have become my reality. I live in my nightmares. I know I may sound crazy bu-" Sam whispered in her ear while the shrink was taking notes. "She thinks you're crazy." Lydia smacked herself. "SHUTUP!" The shrink jumped. "Lydia you alright?!" "Sorry she likes to annoy me!" "Who Lydia?" "Sam!" "Ok what is she saying?" "She said you think I am crazy." The shrink felt guilty, because, it was true. She thought half of her patients were crazy. But, in order to keep the job she kept it to herself and her notes. "Lydia I don't think you are crazy! I know you just need a little push in your life." "She's lying Lydia!!" "Are you just saying that to me?" The shrink became nervous. She felt like Lydia knew what she was saying in her head. "No Lydia. You are just living on guilt. You need to let go of your past. What Sam did was not because of you. She just needed some professional help. She was too weak. You sought help. I am here for you." "Lydia do not listen to her. She wants to send you to the hospital." "She keeps telling me that your'e gonna send me to the hospital." Lydia was crying, she was so scared. "No I was going to recommend you to this great rehab. It will keep you safe." "Kill her Lydia!! No one is watching!" Lydia stood up. "SHUT UP SAM! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! SOMEONE HELP ME NOW!!" The shrink grabbed Lydia. Lydia turned to face the shrink to see Sam's dead corpse smiling at her. Lydia could not help what she did. When she blinked again, the shrink fell to the floor. "Oh my." Lydia fell to her knees. She touched the pen that was in the side of her neck. She could hear footsteps running towards the room. "OH MY GOD SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE!!!!!" Lydia backed up slowly while blood ruined her robe.
Hours of screaming and crying later.....
Lydia was riding in the back of a police car. Lydia was so confused as to what had happened. Did she kill her? Did Sam do it herself?
The police walked Lydia into the Psychiatric hospital. After she was submitted in they took her down to the basement to strip her of her clothes. "Stand still Lydia." Lydia felt crazy. Lydia was angry. Lydia was scared.
