This was dangerous. Lydia laid awake in her room. The air was cold and dark. No matter if her eyes were closed or wide open, they haunted her. They were evil. Her families story was never told because it was just too graphic for a person to read. Since the story has lifted a lot of secrets. One must allow even the darkest to be revealed. Lydia's family contained a little boy named Sabrem. He was just three years old when he died. Lydia clung to him once her grandmother brought him home from the orphanage. He died in car wreck along with her grandmother and grandfather. Their names were Margret and Hubert. Sadly, Lydia did not find out about it until the last day of her senior year. That is when Sam made it clear that she had a best friend for life! This replayed in Lydia's mind. That was the main thing she focused on. Now, they haunted her. She stared at the ceiling watching her past in replay. Lydia could not even cry it was too devastating. It was like she was watching her baby tapes on television. There she was a small child, running around with her favorite puppy, Lou. Cameron sat in the background cheering on her baby girl on. Lydia's dad throwing her up in the air, making her laugh. The grandparents laughing along. It scared her. She was forced to watch her happiness that did not exist anymore. Three year old Lydia was full of life and adventure. Six year old Lydia was also happy. But, ten year old Lydia was alone inside. Lydia saw the first time she met Sam. It was the first day of kindergarten. Lydia was alone playing with the barbie dolls; and Sam was on her way to her with open arms.

"Hello my name is Samantha! What's your name?"

Lydia started crying then. She put her hand over her mouth, while the tears flowed through her fingers.

"I'm Lydia!" Four year old Lydia stood up and hugged her.

"Can I join you?"

"Yes you can best friend."

That was the start of a strong friendship. The two girls together could stop world crime. Sadly, it did not last for too long. Lydia felt lost after it faded away. At this moment, she would have rather been a vegetable. Lydia was so tired of this. All of this was just too much. Too overwhelming.
