*knock knock*

Lydia woke up on the floor drowned in tears and sweat. "Hold on!" She sat up and dreaded getting up. She finally made it to the door. She looked through the peep hole to see James standing there. "Its unlocked!" She walked away. James opened the door and handed her flowers. "What's this for?" He grinned. "Well... I just thought you might like some light in your life. Look Lydia-" "Save it! I read the letter. Sad to say, but I don't understand at all." He sat down at the couch. "I kind of figured that. So... I came by to give you some more lean on." "Some more? I don't want more! I am trying so very hard to move on! I can't keep this up. You gotta go James. Move on!" James stood up. "I can't!" "How? That's what you were always good at! You kept cheating on her AND kept hitting on me!" "I KNOW I know. I still loved her! She was my everything too. Lydia. I met with those guys last night. It was a mistake. I went out for a simple drink and they bought me my first shot." Lydia sat down, he joined. He looked pale and scared. "W-what they bought you a drink? They are in London?" Lydia was scared. "Yes. I think I'm being followed too. What if they want me dead too?" He was scared. "Well... go jump out in front of a truck and end it before it begins-" "It has already begun!" Sam screamed. "Get out Sam this does not concern you. YOU ARE DEAD DAMMIT GO AWAY!!" Lydia screamed louder. James stood up and looked concerned for Lydia. "Sam? Wha- who were you talking to, there's nobody there?" Lydia put her hand on her forehead and the other on her hip. "James I've been seeing things. I've been experiencing paranormal shit!" "What have you seen?" Lydia laughed and fell back on the couch. "Sam. Something about a hospital. I don't know. It's scaring me. It's like she's tryna tell me something or warn me. I can't sleep. I am so alone." Lydia was getting choked on her words. James just glared at her lips ready to kiss them. "James?" She snapped her fingers. "Sorry. Would you like for me to stay?" He wanted to so bad. "Sure. You can sleep on the couch."

The day was gone and the night was on its way. Lydia left James downstairs. She put on a movie and laid on bed. The lights started flickering on and off. Lydia did not pay no mind to it, because it was probably Sam bullshitting her. She turned up the volume on her movie and just focused on the movie. Her eyelids were becoming heavy and everything blurry. She fell asleep.

      *bang bang*

That loud sound sounded like a shot gun. She woke up in the dark. "James?" She could not see anything. The air became hard to breathe and it was getting chilly inside. She tried to turn on the lamp but it would not turn on. "Dammit!" She got up and felt her way down the hall. Next were the stairs. She held on to the railing. She made her way to the living room. "James are you ok?" "H-help me." He sounded like he was in trouble. "James where are you?!" "In the floor below you." The lights turned on. James was on the floor seizing out. "Oh my gosh! James look at me!!" He looked at her. She slapped his face to wake him up. He sat up and gasped for air. "Shhh James calm down. Breathe in and out. Slowly." She showed him how to breathe and it brought him back to reality. He was ok then.

James laid beside her silently. Lydia wasps too silent. Neither of them could explain what had just happened. "It felt as if I were stuck in another world." James sighed as he spoke. "What are you talking about?" Lydia was confused. "Just a minute ago. Before that I was sleeping peacefully on the couch. I heard someone say my name. I got up and looked around. There was no one. I sat down, looked to my left and Sam was sitting there. That's all I remember before my blackout." Lydia turned to face him. "I'm sorry. I do not know what she wants. I'm glad to know I'm not crazy." As they faced each other, the awkwardness was loud and they both were uncomfortable. So, they turned to face the wall and went to bed.
