*after class*

Lydia ran to her car hoping to see the boy again. There he was leaning against her car with his hood covering his beautiful hair. When their eyes met they both smiled. The connection between the two was so strong it was like the loudness of thunder.

"Well... let's get started then!" They started on their tour around the campus. They went pass the dorm halls and libraries. It was enormous! He was not even focused on his surroundings. He was too focused on Lydia to even care about the tour. Lydia's voice echoed through his head. He was hypnotized by her tone. He got excited every time the light would shine on her face. Her perfect, smooth face just shined bright like a diamond. He was in love.

"You know what?" She stopped talking. "I think I've seen enough of this big building. You wanna go grab some brunch?" She was unsure if she even trusted him. "Um. I don't think I can. Sorry." "Aw c'mon just a little food wouldn't hurt ya!" He was definitely a Yankee. "No I'm sorry I gotta another class in about two hours." He understood she was not comfortable enough with people yet. "Ya know I can tell when someone has trust issues." He walked back to his scooter. Lydia lost her smile. She shook her head like she was disappointed with herself. "Dammit Lydia get your shit together!" She muttered as she unlocked her car door. She was frustrated and angry. He was good looking and sweet. She was a mess.
