After I went back home, I vented to my future self about everything that happened with P'Newt today, including the cringy parts, and my future self replied to me around nighttime.

Future Me: Well, you've already reached this stage, why don't you just confess to him?

CH@rL!e: No way, I can't.

Future Me: You can't? But you've already asked him to take care of your heart.

CH@rL!e: Flirting and confessing are two different things.

I still remember when P'Newt rejected Namwan. It was so unforgettably harsh.

I used to think that I would be happy to be loving him in secret. I had never imagined I would become his acquaintance, his student. It was such an unexpected turnout.

However, if I confessed and P'Newt rejected me, everything I had achieved so far would be in vain. I didn't even know whether I could accept it or not. It would be painful to love someone who couldn't return our feelings.

"No, I can't!" I held my head.

I recalled some of my bad memories during middle school.

I still had no friends at that point, and since I was a teenager, it was normal to be interested in someone. However, all my classmates kept avoiding me. I didn't dare to like anybody until...

"I like you."

I was stunned and excited when a female student came to confess her feelings for me. It was the first time in my life, and she was a high school student. I could hardly believe it was happening.

But after she confessed to me, she simply turned around and ran back to her group of friends, leaving me confused.

My thoughts were running wild all night. I didn't know what I should do.

I searched on the internet about what to do when one received a confession. It suggested that whether we liked that person or not, it's best that we give them a clear answer, and not let that person keep waiting hopelessly.

So I looked for her and saw her chatting with her classmates. I decided to walk towards them.

"Hello, senior, well...about yesterday..."

When I greeted her, she and her friends showed a puzzled look.

"I don't know much about you, but I want to know you more."

I decided on this approach because I didn't want to judge anyone without getting to know that person first.

However...

"Huh? Wait. Is this the nong from yesterday? Are you serious?" One of her friends said.

"Don't tell me, you really think that my friend likes you?" Another ridiculed me.

"What...do you mean?" I was stunned.

"Nong..." That senior gave me a weird gaze.

"I don't like you. I already have a boyfriend."
