My Own Feelings

His words were still lingering in my head, I couldn't eat or sleep well.

What was my answer then? Of course, I did like him. A LOT. As much as the countless litres of my release for him.

What if I told him that I liked him but he rejected me?

I would be burning every chance I had of being close to him. P'Newt would avoid me too.

What if I told him that I didn't like him that way?

I would be a liar then, plus, P'Newt wanted to clear the air. He probably wanted me to know that he wouldn't allow me to cross the line anymore.

What should I do? I was stressed. I wanted to keep it vague. I wanted to be closer to him, but this time would end soon.

Although he made a promise that he wouldn't reject me, there are other ways of responding to my confession. He might not reject me directly but if he said that we were more like brothers, it was still an indirect rejection. P'Newt was too good to make me cry, I knew it.

I was overwhelmed with stress and had no idea what to do. Then I thought of my true friend - my future self. The best consultant whenever I was having a hard time. My future self should be able to help me.

CH@rL!e: Hey, I'm stressed. T__T

I sent him a message and it took him three minutes to get back to me.

Future Me: What's wrong?

So, I explained to him.

CH@rL!e: P'Newt asked me whether I like him or not, but I don't know what I should do.

Future Me: Just say that you like him, how is that hard?

CH@rL!e: Because P'Newt said he would make it clear. If I tell him my feelings and he rejects me, I won't have any chance to flirt with him anymore.

Future Me: What are you thinking? I told you so many times that he likes you!

My future self even typed with an exclamation mark. He didn't get me.

CH@rL!e: How could he like someone like me? It's impossible.

Future Me: Listen to me then. Ever since you started watching him, have you ever seen him ask how someone feels about him?

I thought about what he said. P'Newt was usually friendly with everyone. When someone tried to approach him, he would respond politely - not giving them any chances. But I couldn't keep an eye on him all the time. How would I know for sure?

Future Me: Whoever had a crush on him, P'Newt would always reject them directly without even asking. Am I right?

CH@rL!e: I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Future Me: Well, I'm gonna tell you. Do you really think P'Newt didn't know that you like him? He has so many admirers.

I almost dropped my phone.

CH@rL!e: What? You told me to flirt with him, even though you knew he would notice that?

Future Me: Seriously, the way you flirted with him, how could you think he wouldn't even have a clue? It was super obvious.
