I cried out when I saw that the QU page had already uploaded this year's candidates on the album. Everyone was outstanding and good-looking, and they were all carefully selected to win the University Moon and Star titles.

Unlike me...

How could I be nominated? I heard our faculty's female candidate pretended to be sick to escape the contest. As always, I was the only unlucky one left.

I was so stressed. It took me many minutes before I dared to look at each candidate's photo. I figured the medical faculty candidates probably had a good relationship with the student committee as their photos were the first to appear in the album. This year, both medical school candidates were outstanding, and the candidates from other faculties were also good-looking.

I finally saw my photo.

"UHHH!" I cried when I saw my ugly photo.

Imagine scrolling through photos of angels and ending with a plain human at the bottom. I guess I should be grateful, because at least by being last in the sequence, not many will see my photo since not many people would scroll through the entire album.

I was anticipating zero votes on my photo. It wouldn't be surprising, given that even I didn't dare to like my own photo.

In this photo, my face looked like I was obviously lacking sleep from studying. I wore glasses, my hair was messy. My pose was even worse - formal student ID style. So plain and boring.

My photo was inferior compared to other candidates who posed like professional models and received more than a hundred likes in only a few minutes.

I felt so embarrassed. I held my head. I wanted to delete it but I couldn't.

My duty as the Cute Boy page admin was to share the candidates' album, but my photo was in there, so I didn't want to do it!

I was ready to see zero votes, which was the lowest since the contest had been held...but wait...1 like? Where did it come from?
