A week after confronting the Cullens Seth had to go back to school due to missing to many days for comfort. With Sue and Leah out of the house constantly and Jacob working Sol, who was laying in bed (trying to soak in his imprint's sent), decided to get busy by training with his powers. He threw on a pair of shorts, a hoodie that was to large for him, and packed a small bag incase he wanted to shift before making his way to the woods where he could be more in tune with nature.
As he was walking deeper into the woods a fox joined him trotting behind him. Taking in the views of nature he couldn't help but miss living in the wild, far away from human corruption. There he didn't have to master a language to communicate with others. He didn't have to worry about trying to fit in with a packed walked into a clearing that was a little far from where Jacob had took him and Seth before the situation with the Cullens and Paul. He sighed as he sat down against a tree crossing his legs, the fox deciding to curl in his lap, he rested his hand on a large root that had grown above the ground as he focused on what he could feel.
Unbeknownst to him faint green energy wisped between him and the tree, then the wisps spread to other trees around. Sol feeling comforted began to drift off to the world of dreams.
In his dream he was in the exact same clearing as real life but everything seemed so much more vibrant. Of course the reason being the fact fall was transgressing into winter, where as in a dream the setting can be anything. Sol's eyes eventually caught sight of four being sitting on the ground, three of them were females who were talking as if family who hasn't seen each other in ages while the one male was laying down. The way the male looked caught Sol's eyes as he appeared to be a mix between a man and a goat.
As he got closer to the group they seemed to become aware of his presence as the stared at him, the guy getting up and walking over to him. He seemed to smirk a bit as he spoke, "Well I assume you are the guy we're waiting on" he said as he walked around Sol as if analyzing him, this was confirmed by the way he looked him up and down and seemed to sniff him.
"Enough of that Pan, you will not be attempting to seduce our student", Said one to woman in front of him. The one who said that had black hair and had an air of authority around her.
"Artemis is right, he is our student and the reason why can experience this much freedom around this time", said the woman who wore had golden hair and black clothing unlike the others who wore white.
"well then let's speed this up since you have to go soon ", said a woman who looked similar to the one before her. She put a hand on her chest as she spoke up again, " my name is Demeter and she is Persephone", she said figure pointed to the one wearing black.
"we'll be your guardians and mentors for the next two year until you're ready", said Pan
"we'll be training you in the ways of nature so that you'll be ready for a great challenge later on", said Artemis not giving room for Sol to speak as he suddenly felt dizzy.
as the world started to blur Sol could hear a faint 'that was fast' before he felt himself be thrusted into the physical world due to the frantic shaking of someone who ,upon opening his eyes, was Jacob accompanied with a worried Seth, beside him was the fox that was sleeping on him. Yawning Sol rubbed his eyes before he felt Seth rush into his lap holding him like he'd lose him as he leaned in the side of Sols neck, and with closer inspection Jacob was not doing much better then Seth. Opening up his arm a bit Jacob rushed to his side and leaned into the other side of his neck. The three sitting under the tree for what felt like 30 minutes to others was hours to them.
The walk back home was filled with chatter from a now positive Seth talking about his day, and a touch starved Jacob who was holding Sol's hand the entire way home.
