Imtesal tried to get everybody's attention, he had to convince everyone to smoke sheesha with him so he could get closer to Mishal. 'Chalo yar sheesha peetay hain', he called out to Kinza and Ayesha as they were taking their selfies. He called towards Talha who was glad to get away from the Jauhar maili who had almost sat on top of him by now. He stood up suddenly as she fell off to the side, and quickly walked towards Imtesal. Mishal also came forward.
'Nahi tum yahan betho, mein yahan bethunga', Imtesal said to Talha as he tried to huddle closer to Mishal. 'Meri jacket pehenlo Mishal, tumhe thand lagrahi hogi', he said politely. 'Mujhe dedo', and Kinza quickly grabbed it from Imtesal's hands. Imtesal glared at her, one more romantic gesture ruined.
'What the f***, you didn't bring a filter thing?', Kinza asked. 'Are we all going to share eachother's spit? Yuck! Haven't you heard of Corona Imtesal?', she questioned. Imtesal ignored her and took a long drag from the sheesha, and tried to blow out the smoke in a cool suave manner, but ended up coughing his lungs out. He quickly tried to put the giant nozzle between Mishal's lips before anyone could take it. Mishal clearly displeased by this sudden gesture, moved further away and decided to go for a walk alone.
Imtesal ran after her. While 'Sheela ki jawani', blared on the speakers. Seynish woke up and saw Simran too busy getting it on with Humayun, and Gulrin and Rhimjim were also getting too cosy to be 'just friends' on the dance floor. Guess spiking their stupid Sprites really worked. Even Talha was now beginning to enjoy time with the Jauhar maili he had picked up. Everybody seemed to be enjoying the party, except Imtesal. He was disappointed, yet again another opportunity missed to get Mishal. Her driver had come to pick her up, even though Imtesal had already been planning in his head to drop her home. He decided to dance by himself on the dance floor pretending to be an even sadder version of Kabir Singh, as he drank the most diluted beer in this cheap, underfunded party.
