It's finally Friday.

I walk up to my vanity mirror and fix myself. I wear my red long gown, which has a sweetheart neckline, with my white heels. My make-up is minimal because I don't want anyone to give me too much attention and whisper about a damaged girl killing herself, but failing to do so. I head downstairs, to the kitchen and open the first-aid cabinet. I grab the gauze and wrap it around my wrist, hiding my scars just for once.

I walk back to the living room and see my family wearing their own style of dresses and tuxes. Hadley wears a blue off-shoulder dress with white heels and Alec wear his black suit with a gray tie. I go to the kitchen and open the first-aid kit. I grab the gauze and wrap it around my wrist.

My father drives us to the event place and I haven't stop fidgeting with my fingers. Alec notices my anxiety and he holds my hand for comfort. Maybe I made a mistake of approving to come with them and I should've lied about not being strong enough to attend parties. However, I just went with it and now, I'm filled with anxiety.

We arrive in a few minutes and holy shit, I stare at the huge building and admire its architecture. Its windows are pure glass, which reflects the moonlight and stars themselves. Alec opens the car door and one by one, we leave the car, walking up to the entrance.

"Nervous?" Alec says, catching up with me.

"Jesus Christ, Alec, of course," I reply, holding my dress up to help myself walk up the stairs. "We haven't seen each other for months and I haven't thanked him, and shit, I'm an awful person!"

"Well, I told you to visit him when you were discarded from the hospital," he replies, making me pout.

"You should be comforting me, asshole," I whisper, as we open the doors of the place. The place is huge and almost everything is made of glass. There's a huge chandelier hanging in the middle of the ceiling which is made of glass and jewels hang from the tips. On the side, there on tables where the food is seen and where people lay there purse and talk about the huge place.

My parents are stopped by Mr. and Mrs. Asher, who gives their own greetings. After giving their usual catch-up talk with each of us, I proceed to the desserts table where there's a chocolate fountain found.

My parents continues to chat with Mr. and Mrs. Asher, while Alec goes to his friends, which are Logan's friends too. Hadley finds her boyfriend, who is Logan's cousin, which is godly weird, while I continue to eat the marshmallows and take a drink of red wine. I only had two glasses and I'm feeling lightheaded. My alcohol intolerance became weak starting from the accident. Now, I'm only allowed to drink wine because my parents said so, but they didn't know that beer has more alcohol intolerance than wine.

I close my eyes and open them again because my sight became hazy for a second, but once I opened them, I see Logan walking from the door. He's wearing a black suit with a matching black tie. I walk to him, slightly infuriated, and he walks toward me. We stop at the middle of the dance floor and I hug him.

"I miss you," Logan whispers, making my heart flutter.

"Oh god, you asshole," I blurt out, hitting his back in the process. I'm not really myself right now, but he's an asshole. He lets go of me, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Why haven't you visited?" I ask, crossing my arms in front of me and raising an eyebrow.

"The company going bankrupt and I needed to help my parents to relive their company, which they spend their own blood, sweat, and tears," he replies, making me roll my eyes and frown.

"That's more important than me?" I scoff and dramatically raising my hands to give effect. "You have time."

"This isn't the right time to get angry at me," he replies.
