Ignorance

Vansh's Ferrari Portofino halted near the gates of his mansion . The driver opened the gate for the Mafia couple who stepped down the car and made their way inside their manor .
They were welcomed by their well wishers in the family. Dadi and siya hugged them one by one and dadi stated  her worry of not seeing Ridhima since morning . She asked Ridhima about her whereabouts to which Ridhima stood answerless.
Vansh backed her by saying that they both went to meet her aunt as Ridhima was missing her .
Dadi invited them for lunch but vansh expressed his desire of having it in his room with ridhima . Ridhima was terrified with his confession. She couldn't even imagine vansh anger . She had been the victim of his anger once and then never wished for it again . Vansh clasped his hand with her and gave a shout to his servant ,he ordered their lunch in their room .
They reached their room,followed by servants. The servant bowed down after being done with their work and Vansh Ridhima was left alone in their room ,much to Ridhima's dismay .
Ridhima was both guilty and frightened. The moments of yesterday night crowded her mind while she is still gulping down today's revelation.
Vansh prepared a plate for her and served her food. She sat down before her would tell to .

"Don't forget to have your medicines after lunch . You have already missed it in breakfast", Vansh said without looking towards her . Ridhima looked at him little shocked as till the date she was on medications,he himself made her eat every meal of the day following with medicines . Even on the day when he had extra work load ,he just came home for her to make her have medicine and then left . Vansh went near his cupboard and took out his work file. He sat on his lounge and started introspecting
his company's monthly workings .
Ridhima kept looking at him while he was engrossed in his work . She took a deep breath and asked him," Will...you not eat ? "
She was answered with a direct "no" .
She nodded and proceeded to eat her food . While eating ,she kept looking at vansh sneakily to see , somewhere to catch him looking at her . She was now used to being gawked by her husband but to her surprise,he didn't looked at her once . She took her medicines and got up to wash her hands . She slowly took steps near washroom but she saw vansh getting up from his chair and went out of the room while his retreating figure was seen by his wife .
At night ,the situation was similar .
Ridhima was hopeful of vansh talking to her at night though she didn't admit it to herself . She knew that vansh don't sleep without cuddling with her . She waited for her husband . She had not seen him since the time he left in the afternoon and also had no idea about his whereabouts. One and half an hour went and it was almost midnight.
Ridhima felt sleepy and was dozing off. She pulled up the comforter over  her body and turned to her left to sleep with a confirmation in her mind that when vansh will arrive ,he would hug her from behind.
Vansh came back at 1 in night . He was heavily drunk . He drank entire evening as everything that happened in a day was disturbing him . He was also not talking to Ridhima so now alcohol was his only escape now . In intoxicated too ,he remembered his decision and slept at his side of the bed turning his face away from Ridhima. On the other side , Ridhima who was woken up with the thud sound of door , sneaked behind her back and again got astonished seeing vansh sleeping away from her . Her heart itched a bit and she felt bad .
But again ignoring her true emotion ,she slept . The next three  to five days went same . Vansh was not indulging in any conversation with Ridhima. Ridhima who was waiting for him to talk to her was left in thoughts everytime he ignored her .
He never did that. It's was not like he is not taking care of her . She was asked by helpers about the things she wanted and it was given to her . Ishani again tried to mock Ridhima once but was interfered by vansh who insulted and warned Ishani of adverse consequences. Ridhima was happy inside as she expected him hugging her and speaking sweet words to her .
But he after wiping her tears and sending her to room ,left without speaking a word. One fine evening ,Ridhima who was sitting alone in her room near the window with her deep thoughts . Ofc she was thinking about her and vansh .

Ridhima POV,
What is wrong with him now ? Why is he ignoring me so much. I know I have been bad to him and i accept it . But wasn't his fault that he never told me the truth . He forcefully married me without even asking me .
At this thought,i was remembered by my aunt's word :
    "Ridhima ,vansh married you because your video being together was viraled in the city . Everyone would have loathed you and doubted your character . No matter how much the time is evolved , a woman is always the one accountable for answering", D'Souza said .
To which Ridhima responded irritatedly ," It was he who started ...She was cutted by her aunt ," Then why didn't you stop him or screamed for help ? To her aunt 's question,she went silent as she remembered how she was moaning with his touches .
D'Souza shrugged the convo and told her although vansh loved her since start and wanted to marry her at any cost but he never wanted the shame and guilt upon her . He married her because he knew that it was his mistake because of which she was suffering and marriage was the only  way to shut everyone's mouth apart from killing people.

Ridhima said ," May be ,it was his own plan to marry me ?" Like humiliating me and then pretending to care for me ?" Miss D'Souza was done with her niece. She was shocked of how negatively she was filled about vansh but how come ?
The last and only reply she gave to her was vansh taking oath of her deceased mother and her dadi for not being a part of any such act. Now she should make her niece understand the love and respect he has for the two ladies .
She then left it on God for mending their relation.
Ridhima was back in present and thought of how vansh didn't interacted with her the entire week .
The man whose first word in the morning since their marriage was "I love you ridhima " was not even talking to her . The one who didn't sleep at night without kissing her was sleeping with his face turned away from her . He don't even call her from the office now . Today morning when she was alone in her standing with only towel wrapped on her body ,he entered . Ridhima felt a hope of again that he would again come to her but he silently was looking for his file .
Ridhima was a bit irritated seeing his eyes away from her , therefore for the first time by herself ,she tried seducing him by applying lotion on her body . She was trying to be as seductive she could but she failed .
She had no idea about it  .All she knew about such stuff was from her husband and from noticing him  of how he would react seeing her naked ,or in towel or in a particular dress . Ridhima sighed . She rested her back on the sofapost and closes her eyes . Flashback of past week were appearing in front of her and a single tear fell from the corner of her eyes .
She opened her eyes and let her emotions release via cries.

Ridhima POV,
"I am missing him ", Ridhima accepted within herself while tears were flowing done her cheeks .

"Then why don't you call him ", A sweet voice came from behind and Ridhima positioned herself straight and looked near the voice . It was siya .Siya moved her wheel chair and came near Ridhima . Ridhima who has soft corner for the lady  hugged her tightly and cried her heart out on her soldiers . Breaking the hug , Ridhima emotionally expressed herself ," Siya....Vansh is not..talking to me . He is ignoring me".

"No Ridhima , it's not like that. Vansh Bhai has no intention of ignoring you.
It's just after your fight ( On this line , Ridhima eyed siya who confessed being aware of their fight . )
She apologized to Ridhima and continued," Ridhima,Vansh Bhai has realised his mistake. He have understood that although his intentions were never to hurt you but he did hurt you . He loves you a lot .
So after your confession ,he feels dejected . He realised that you don't like him so he is just not interfering and bothering you much . He has decided that he will give you as much time you want to fully accept this relation. But till then ,he has abtained himself from you.

"He always do this ", Ridhima said irritated. "He is always the one to decide everything for me . First he decided to marry me and care for me when I didn't wanted it . Now he is ignoring me when I want his attention and apology.
Siya smiled listening to her.
She understood that Ridhima needed to open up about her feelings and she is all ready to be a good listener.
