Morning crept into the apartment like a lazy visitor who forgot to knock.
Sunlight slanted through half-drawn curtains, catching on dust motes that drifted above a battlefield of clutter - crushed chip packets, half-drunk soda cans, and a pillow that had given up its will to live. In the middle of it all strutted a pigeon, proudly pacing the living room floor as though auditioning for the role of landlord.

It paused beside a crinkled bag of chips, cocking its head with refined curiosity, before pecking inside. Then, suddenly -

A loud scream shattered the morning calm.

Startled, the pigeon bolted upright, flapping madly before escaping through the open window - chip packet still dangling from its beak like stolen treasure.

From one of the rooms, a man burst out, hair tousled, eyes still foggy with sleep.
"YOU!!! COME BACK AGAIN!! AND I WILL--I WILL LOCK YOU INSIDE MY BASEMENT!!" he bellowed after the flying thief, his voice echoing dramatically across the apartment.

Silence followed. He blinked, rubbed the back of his neck, and muttered to himself, "i don't have a basement."
With a groan, he flopped down on the couch, pressing a hand over his eyes. His alarm went off from the bedroom again - shrill, merciless.
"i hate you," he mumbled weakly.

Dragging himself up, he trudged to the bathroom. Moments later, he stepped out with a towel wrapped loosely around his waist. His reflection greeted him - round doe eyes gleaming beneath wet reddish-brown bangs, plump soft lips tinted naturally pink, a strikingly handsome face that seemed sculpted to break hearts on sight. His skin glistened faintly under the bathroom light, and every drop of water on his jaw caught the light like it knew who it was blessing.

He leaned closer to the mirror, brushing his hair back with his fingers.
"Why am I soo handsome?" he muttered, lips curving in mock disbelief.
He struck a pose, tilting his head this way and that. "oh jin how can you be this much handsome? that's illegal."

Still admiring himself, he dressed - white shirt tucked neatly into black slacks, a fitted black sleeveless blazer over it, his employee badge clipped perfectly against his chest like an accessory of pride. A faint trace of cologne drifted in the air as he buttoned up, transforming from sleepy chaos into Seoul's morning perfection.

He grabbed his toothbrush, stepped out onto the balcony, and brushed absentmindedly while staring at the world below - the people rushing, the taxis honking, the distant hum of the city. He exhaled deeply, rolling his eyes at humanity in general.

When he finally finished, he stepped back inside, grabbing his bag.
"IF YOU DARE TO COME BACK AND STEAL MY THINGS, THEN YOU ARE DEAD!!" Seokjin shouted toward the window before slamming the door shut with a dramatic flair.

Outside, he fumbled through his pockets - dropping gum wrappers, air fresheners, and a comb - before triumphantly finding his key. He locked the door, double-checked it once, twice, thrice... then a few more times just to be sure.
"They said 'We WiLL gIvE you A rOom iN tHe hotel,' but didn't give me yet. I'm senior now. I deserve to get a free room," he grumbled, sliding into a cab.

The driver glanced back, curious. Seokjin shot him a deadly serious look.
"Don't stare, else you will fall in love."
The driver blinked. "what?"
"Just drop me in Hotel Coro. Can't you see I work there? Look at my ID," Seokjin said, shoving his badge toward the driver's face with unnecessary force.
"I know, s-sir," the driver stammered.

Seokjin reclined, sighing dramatically as the cab sped through the city.

Hotel Coro towered before him - a grand building wrapped in glass and gold. The entrance gleamed with marble floors so polished they reflected the chandeliers above like stars. Inside, the lobby was vast and elegant, with ivory walls, crystal lights hanging like frozen rain, and wide couches arranged neatly near the accounting desk that stretched across the room in a graceful curve. Behind it, tall elevators lined the far wall - their bronze doors shining like mirrors, always opening to reveal guests dressed in luxury.
