Felix stepped out of his room, locking the door behind him. He looked around carefully, holding a few medical papers in his hand.
Eunwo did the same from the opposite side, clutching his bag tightly. He whistled casually as he walked toward the elevator.
Just before the elevator doors could close, Felix rushed inside. Eunwo rolled his eyes. Felix scoffed and stood in the corner.
When the elevator dinged open again, both of them stepped out — only to get shoved aside by Jungkook, Jeongin, and Taehyung.
“IF I SAID THIRTY DOLLARS, THEN GIVE EXACTLY THIRTY! WE’RE NOT A BANK!”
Taehyung yelled, shaking Jungkook by the collar.
Felix groaned, noticing his papers scattered all over the floor. Jeongin rushed to help him gather them, while Eunwo just stood frozen, still processing what had happened.
Jungkook suddenly snatched Eunwo’s bag and smacked Taehyung in the face with it. Papers flew everywhere again. Eunwo’s eyes widened as he scrambled to scoop them up, stuffing them hurriedly into his bag before bolting out of sight.
“What were those papers?” Jeongin asked.
“My eomma’s waiting outside — remember that doctor visit? She wants my medical report,” Felix replied.
“Oh yeah, the fever report,” Jeongin nodded.
As they picked up the rest of the papers, Jungkook frowned.
“You had fever for more than two weeks?” he asked.
“Yeah,” Felix said, still collecting.
Taehyung leaned over Jungkook’s shoulder, eyeing another paper. Jungkook’s brows furrowed.
“Mrs. Wang,” Taehyung read aloud.
“Ah, she was the sweetest old lady — always paid her bills on time,” Taehyung added.
Felix and Jeongin froze.
“Why is her report with mine?” Felix asked, snatching the paper. His eyes widened.
“This isn’t a report,” Jeongin murmured, examining it. “It’s Mrs. Wang’s… birth certificate?”
“Not just that,” Felix whispered. “This paper could change our lives.”
Jeongin looked puzzled, but before he could ask, Felix snatched the papers back and ran. Jungkook sprinted after him.
Taehyung and Jeongin exchanged wide-eyed looks — realization dawning — then dashed after the two.
Meanwhile, Eunwo let out a frustrated scream and threw his bag down.
“WHY DID THAT FELIX COME IN BETWEEN!? THAT JOKER HAS THE PAPERS NOW!”
He tugged at his hair in despair.
Just then, Y/N stepped out of the elevator holding a broom, while Seokjin came out of another with a stick in his hand. Both froze upon seeing each other.
“WHY ARE YOU HERE? UGLY PEOPLE AREN’T ALLOWED INSIDE!” Seokjin barked.
“THAT’S WHY YOU’RE NOT COMING IN!” Y/N shot back.
Seokjin flipped his nonexistent hair.
“You’re only lying to yourself. I’m handsome,” he said coolly.
“You wish,” Y/N huffed, turning toward room 400.
He shoved her aside.
“If anyone else were in your place, they’d run away. But you — you’re dying for money.”
“I am dying for money because you still haven’t paid me back!” she snapped.
Seokjin rolled his eyes.
“Get out of here. Last time you begged to go home, now you’re begging to stay. Shameless. It’s better to keep you out.”
He moved closer, pinning her lightly against the elevator doors. Before either could react, the doors opened — and both fell inside with a yelp.
Felix, Jungkook, Jeongin, and Taehyung stopped short, staring in disbelief as Seokjin ended up awkwardly on top of Y/N.
They all looked away, whistling innocently. Seokjin sighed, rolling off her.
