All of them slump at a long table, rubbing their temples like a defeated idol group after a disastrous variety show.

“Who could have stolen it?” Jimin mumbles, face in his hands.

“Did someone steal your watch?” Jeongin asks, deadpan.

“I can’t understand why this peeled-off mango left the door open,” Y/N complains, smacking Felix’s arm.

“You said you found the paper with your reports?” Seokjin asks. Felix nods like a guilty child.

Taehyung makes a dramatic entrance with a tray full of tea. They all look up at him.

“Is it free?” Jungkook asks.

“One dollar for asking that,” Taehyung replies like a tiny merchant. Namjoon hisses, “Take them away. We don’t need it.” Taehyung nods, lifts the tray—then slips, dramatically flailing to the floor. He pops up as if nothing happened; everyone stares in stunned silence while he dusts off like a pro.

“Leave him. Who could’ve gotten into your room, Felix?” Jungkook asks.

“There wasn’t anyone. I just ordered ice cream and that’s it,” Felix says, too smoothly.

Suddenly, a booming voice: “Y’ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN TO ME!!” Jackson storms in with two guards. He does an absurd little drum-roll with his mouth. The guards part the crowd like some ridiculous red carpet. One guard fires a shot into the air. Jackson claps, then hugs a man who’s just appeared behind him.

“WELCOME TO MY HOTEL!!” Jackson bellows. The man pushes Jackson aside with a bored expression.

Y/N bolts forward. “Are you okay?” she asks. He gives a thumbs-up.

“HE IS SOOBIN THE GHOST HUNTER!!” Jackson announces proudly.

“How did he get inside??” Jungkook demands.

“I told you — he’s a ghost hunter!” Jackson winks.

Seokjin barges up to the new guy and grabs his collar. “HOW DID YOU GET IN?!” he yells, shaking him.

“Soobin: the back door of the hotel was wide open,” Soobin answers calmly. Seokjin lets go. Namjoon suddenly shouts, “THE SWIMMING POOL DOOR IS OPEN!” Jimin whips his head around. “WHY DIDN’T I NOTICE?” he wails. Seokjin groans. Felix shrieks, “YOU’RE ALL SO STUPID!”

“Is the ghost dumb? How did she not close that door?” Y/N mutters.

“This Soobin will end her,” Jeongin squeals, hugging Soobin like a human life preserver. Soobin gently untangles himself. “Where’s the ghost?” he asks. Felix whispers to Y/N, “He himself looks like a ghost.” Y/N hums, appraising Soobin with suspicious eyes.

“You even have your brother here,” Jeongin says. “Yeonjun?” Soobin asks. “He is Yoonjin but he said he is Eunwin,” Jeongin mumbles, more confused by family names than ghosts.

Jackson’s guards hustle Soobin out. “Go check for ghosts,” Jackson orders. Soobin rolls his eyes. “Don’t order me,” he replies, strolling out.

Eunwo sashays into the cafeteria moments later with an orange juice like the world’s least-threatening exorcist. Everyone stares.

“KICK THIS FAKE PRIEST OUT!” Felix screams. Eunwo scoffs, unbothered.

Y/N catches Seokjin slipping away and runs after him. “HEY! STOP!” she cries. Seokjin dashes for the elevator. Y/N barrels into the other elevator and slams the ghost-floor button. The doors open; Seokjin jumps out. Y/N follows.
