Yashiro was currently dragging the poor girl up the stairs to take her to Hanako. No one said a word.
"Why did this... Hanako want to see me? haven't even met them before." The girl looked clueless, but indifferent. She sighed, pretending to be weary of the situation.
'I don't really feel like explaining anything to anyone right now. Besides, no one is going to believe me if I say I came from another world. It'll just make me look like an idiot.'
The radish leg girl's answer was straightforward. Even she didn't know why Hanako has asked to see this mysterious girl.
"I'm not really sure... but he just asked me to get you. He never tells me anything..." She continued dragging the other hopefully, eyes gleaming in the sunlight. There was a hint of annoyance in the first year's voice.
The h/c haired girl just looked at her, a little stunned by how beautiful her hair looked.
Her long, curly hair glowed gold in the sunlight, flowing behind her as she walked.
"Your hair looks very pretty." Yashiro looked a bit taken aback.
"I-what?!" She stuttered, eyes widening. "You really think so?!" She stopped walking and looked at me in the eyes, heart fluttering.
"Yeah. Your hair is quite naturally pretty, you didn't know that?" Yashiro was too shaken and flustered to hear what she was saying, and she continued dragging the half-conscious girl up the stairs.
"I think we're here." Yashiro's forehead came into contact with the wall.
"Ouch...!"
Y/n held her hand and brought her into the bathroom. She scanned the place, looking for the choppy haired apparition. Seeing he wasn't there, Yashiro approached the third stall and knocked on it three times, a faint knock reverberating in the bathroom as the two girls gulped anxiously.
"Hanako-san, Hanako-san, Hanako-san...are you there?" The daikon spoke, praying that he hadn't left her like last time.
...
"...Right behind ya~!" A cheery voice could be heard from behind the two girls' backs. A boy with choppy black hair and amber eyes were eyeing the two students mischievously all while floating upside down.
His gleefulness disappeared for a split second while looking at the e/c eyed girl. His usual smile then returned looking back at his assistant.
"You brought her, Yashiro. Thanks!" Hanako floated over to Yashiro. He put his hands on her shoulders.
...And started pushing her out of the girls' bathroom. The h/c girl deadpanned.
"L/n and I just have a little something to talk about, 'kay?" He grinned. "See ya later! No bathroom cleaning today!" Yashiro was surprised at his sudden change in behaviour.
"Wait...! B-But you were the one that asked me to bring her over here!" She shook her head and protested.
"Exactly. Is it a problem if she stays here, or..." I stood beside her, giving Hanako a questionable look. He only grinned, seemingly enjoying the exchange.
"Well. She is my assistant. And you know me! Every wish I grant has a price, and her price was being my assistant." He tilted his cap, coveting his eyes. Yashiro let out a small humph and looked at the ground dejectedly.
"A-At least I can go home early today! N-No bathroom cleaning!" She exclaimed nervously. The girl beside her looked a little nervous at why Hanako asked to see her. Did he know something? If he did, how exactly?
This was an absolute pain. Was she a nuisance or what?
Hanako waved to Yashiro. After checking she was gone, he floated over where the sweating girl was standing.
All she could watch was his smile as it dropped. It was a horrifying sight that made her shiver all over. 'Since when did Hanako look so intimidating...'
"Sorry, but I'm going to need to ask you some questions." His tone was scarily serious for a flirty ghost. Y/n gulped anxiously, temples throbbing. His amber eyes had lost all its light and went dull as he reached for his knife.

"Let's talk, shall we?" Teru had his exorcist blade against Hanako's neck. "I won't exorcise you right now, don't worry." Hanako didn't fully trust him. A red cape now fluttered around him, and he had his knife in hand.
"I came here to see the girl. She's a threat to the school, I'm guessing you'd say the same." Hanako grit his teeth, glaring at the exorcist coldly.
The exorcist, on the other hand, looked merciless. As if he were fighting the urge to exorcise the pesky apparition on the spot.
"This girl. I can tell she has lived all her life as a human. Which is why when I first saw her, instead of exorcising her, I brought her into my home so I can keep watch over her."
"So why did you bring her to the school then? That's risky, isn't it?" He asked, skeptical of the excorcist's decision. There was tension in the air. Teru only kept his gaze on Hanako. His expression hadn't changed, one bit.
"Remember, I'm doing this for the sake of the school. I'm aware it's risky, but as long as I'm near her at all times, it'll be fine. If I leave her back at my house, she might escape and her strong presence could be used by other supernaturals for their own selfish reasons."
"Haha... As long as someone's human, you'd never actually harm them and try saving them, right?"
Hanako swung his knife inches away from Teru. The seventh school mystery took this chance to escape.
As long as Teru had concrete evidence the girl was a human could he only persuade the seventh school mystery that she may be able to benefit, instead of harming the school.
But if she was a supernatural,
Teru would just have to kill the girl instead.

"So. I saw you hanging out with that exorcist. What were you doing with him, hmm? " His eyes were dark, yet he was smiling at the girl. Her legs were shaking but she still put her head up, trying to act as if the look in eyes didn't bother her.
"Wait? E-Exorcist. What do you mean? He's just ah, a very, very kind gentleman who brought me into his house. In a hospitable way...ha... " Her breaths were quick, heart beating quicker and quicker as Hanako swung his his knife again in a cheerful manner.
"What I'm trying to say is, you have a powerful presence in this school! That can lead to things we don't want happening here, clear?" He tilted his head and stated at though it was the most obvious thing in the world. He just had to wait for the girl to respond.
"I like you."
It was the first thing came to mind.
'Wait no no NO HOLY. I did not mean it in that way...'
Silence.
Hanako's eyes widened after he processed what she had said.
One.
Two.
Three seconds.
That was enough time for the high schooler to dash out the bathroom with, more or less, a thousand thoughts running around in her mind. Hanako was left looking beyond shocked, dazed, and even flustered as he stared at the bathroom's exit for another ten seconds. He swore that girl's shoulder brushed against his when she was running away.
Should he have stopped her?
But it's not really like he could.
Why exactly couldn't he?
