Am I really deserving of happiness, even if I'm the shittiest person alive?
I don't know. And no one says I am.
It was over.
The perfect, fake world made just for him, where he had a suoernatural-seeing friend by his early days as an exorcist. The feeling of deeply caring for someone else other than his family.
Until he saw the face of someone he despised was when he came back to his senses.
...
"President. Wake up."
He felt a stern voice call out to him. Slowly, he rose up and saw himself sitting in a lake. An unconscious Shijima Mei was in Akane's arms, him trying not to cringe at the thought of holding someone other than his true love.

There were a few seconds of silence of Teru smiling, and Akane frowning as the two stared at one another.
"I asked her what was going on. She didn't comply at first, but at some point she did. I'm thinking she felt bad for that girl."Akane spoke first, resting Shijima against one of the marble pillars.
"Does it have something to do with her being a talented artist?" Teru questioned, leaving Akane feeling skeptical. He gave him a questioning look, one that said 'did you just read my mind?'.
"How did you know that?"
Teru stayed silent. "I have my ways." Akane rolled his eyes, clearly unapproving of the answer.
"Anyway. She said she was threatened by Aito to do his bidding, which was to bring her here and paint a fake reality for both him and the girl. Creating fake realities for everyone else was her choice, against his orders." He sat down on a rock, sunlight pooling down on the floor.
"She called us the supporting cast. That we'd make the main romance between Aito and that other girl more interesting. And also to distract us, hoping we'd not be able to escape. The thing that bothers me the most..."
