You're so irresponsible. Don't you even know how hard things are for me?
It's okay. It's mutual.
Because we now both hate eachother.

"Daydreaming, huh? That's not something the eldest Minamoto boy would do..."
"Just walk over here, we're almost there."
There was a chuckle.
The stars were out, the sounds of people chattering around. There were people buying food from street food stalls nearby, laughter and small cheers being heard from throughout the crowd. Today was a happy day. But for this happiness came with a price.
If it weren't for him, this happiness would be non-existent.
He felt a pang of melancholy inside, watching people come in arcades and carnivals happy, coming out even happier. Perhaps, deep inside he envied these people. Living a life with no struggles, no inner turmoil nor heavy burdens or responsibilities.
Just free doing what they want.
"We're here now. The shrine." Two people led Teru near the place, and they were all greeted by a man. Everyone took turns bowing until the man introduced himself.
"Kunishige Nagisa. Welcome to our shrine. He must be the young Minamoto exorcist, no?" He pointed at Teru, who had an aloof smile on his face, staying polite all the same.
He bowed once again.
"Thank you for inviting me here to your shrine. I am pleased to be here as an exorcist from the Minamoto family. May we build a strong relation between this shrine and our clan." Nagisa-san let out a grunt of approval and smiled. The two shook hands and he looked at Teru, smiling.
Though Teru wasn't focused on him.
There was someone, about his age, standing on a stack of wooden boxes. Even from outside and and the hustle and bustle he could hear her humming a gentle tune.
