Chapter Thirteen

I was in the middle of torturing and taking care of a rat when I got a call from my girl. I wiped my hands clean picking up my phone while walking out of this place so I could answer her call. Once I answer I can tell the she is crying hard. I instantly had her pull her car over so I could meet up with her. Once I had her location I got into the back seat of my SUV telling my driver where to go. As he drive start thinking how I am thankful I didn't get far with the rat cause I wouldn't want to show up covered in blood now would I. Ana doesn't know about the Cartel yet and unfortunatley she wont know until we are more serious. I don't want to rush this at all and to be completely honest I also want to make sure this is real and not some set up like five years ago with my ex-fiance. That was some tough shit to deal with because she was my first love long time girlfriend then fiance. Only for her to try and kill me. Being completely honest I have become really cold hearted to every except my family and close friends. I never wanted to get serious with another woman again after Tara. So I only slept around with women kicking them out the next morning and never speaking to them again. That was until I met this unbelievably beautiful women when I moved out here and was looking for a house. I walked into a real estate office called Rose Real Estate and was met with Luciana. I swear my jaw done hit the floor she was so damn beautiful when she spoke to me her words just rolled off her tongue so smoothly. I was instantly hooked. I haven't slept with her and I can't get her off my mind at all no matter how hard I tried. We worked together for about a week looking for a house that suited me best. Once I picked a house and bought it I asked her out.

I feel the car stop causing my to shake out of my thoughts. I stepped out of the car walking straight to my girl and holding her for a bit before I walked her to the passenger side of the car helping her in. Before I take my seat I stop at Matteos door first introducing myself to him. Once I got into the car I reached over grabbig Ana's hand. Our day was very eventful. I happy that me and little man clicked instantly he is a great kid and is so smart. By the end of the night we had a small heart to heart and fell asleep cuddling which felt amazing. When we woke up in the morning we had breakfast together. I learned that their favorite breakfast food was pancakes with nutella and bananas. Teo has a lot in common with his momma. We made plans to take Matteo and Grizzo out to the park today with a picnic.

When I reached home to shower and get ready for the day I run into Silviano asking about my where abouts.
"Aye man where you been? sleeping at the dog park to keep grizzo happy"
"Nah man my girl called. She was crying her eyes out so I had her pull over so I could meet up with her so she didn't have an accident driving in her state. Met up with her finally getting to meet her kid and spent the day with them"
"Shit what happened D is she all good now? what all did you guys do? how did it go with the kid?"
"I guess the baby daddy popped up thinking he can just come back into there life now that she's finally happy. We got ice cream and went to the park near she shop and played tag for a couple hours then came to pick grizzo up stopped to get movie snacks. when we got to her place we built a fort type thing ordered pizza and watched a movie in their home theater. Me and her had a little heart to heart then we passed out cuddled up with little one and grizzo. Man her kid is real smart, very well behaved, just all around great kid."
"Damn D she sounds like she could be the one. Is our big bad cartel boss going soft on us now?"
"Damn you S you are just a hater" we laugh
"Well I gotta go showe I have plans with little mama and her kiddo."
"See you later D"

make my way up the stairs to my bathroom taking a shower. When I finished washing up I got out of the shower walking towards my walk in closet. I'm in the process of putting on Jeans and a white T shirt with a baseball jersey shirt over it. Once I finished getting dressed I headed downstairs towards the garage to pick which car I'm taking today. Once I decided on what car I jumped into my seat starting the car and taking off towards Luciana's. 20 minutes later I am pulling up in her drive way. As I  am putting the car ito a park I get a call from one of my men telling me that one of my drug shipments has been stolen enroute and our driver was found dead. When he tells me this I only get angerier due to the fact that this driving route was change after we found the rat we already have. which only means I have another rat.I slammed my hand against the steering wheel throwing out a rainbow of curse words. I hang my phone up calling Ana as I back out of the driveway.
PHONE CONVERSATION

D: Hey baby girl I'm sorry to do this to you but there was a work emergency that they aparently can't handle without me.
L: Oh damn. They really can't make do with out you Teo was super excited to play with you and Grizzo.
D: Yeah baby girl I am sure they can't handle it with out me. You guys can still go and take Grizzo with you if you'd like that way little man isn't let down by me and the dog.
L: It's okay babe I hope you get it all figured out. Instead of going out I'll see if Teo wants to do a back yard picnic with Grizzo and maybe some pool time later.
D: Okay thank you for understanding beautiful I promise to make it up to the two of you.
L: you better me devil man *she laughs*
D: *I laugh* I will baby I promise talk to you later baby girl.
L: Talk to you later
END OF CALL

I angerly head straight to the wear house so I could figure this shit out before it gets to far putting Ana and Matteo in danger.
