Chapter Twenty-One

As we were about to step into Luciana's hospital room my phone had rung out. Once I seen that it as Alejandro's contact I excusesd myself to answer the call. 
Phone Conversation

E: Speak!
A: Boss I did as you asked. The car came from that shady Vista Rays down on third. From the street cams I was able to work out that there were two men in said vehicle. They go straight from the hotel to the location you sent me. One of the men had left the vehicle to tamper with the white Escalade belonging to Ms.Perez. Once she wasn't able to start the car they had back tracked and hit her car full force. Then took off. I have tracked the car to an abandoned warehouse on the way out of town.
E: Do we know who the car belonged to or who these men worked for?
A: No boss the car was repoted stolen and I have my system clearing up the images of the men so I can run them through F.T.R. (facial & tattoo recongnition) system.
(we have a system of pictures of everyone we have come across business wise and enemy wise and of tattoos we have come across on people we've had in or torture cells)
E: We have tofigure this out as soon as possible. I'm not happy that someone has gotten this close to the people I care about.
A: I understand boss I will stay on top of this and figure it out.
E: Run down which of our enemies has been trying to move in on our business in our area that's where our best bet to figuring this out.
A: Understood boss.
E: Thanks Alejandro.

End Of Converstation

After I got off the phone with alejandro I made a few more calls to some connections. I was just about done with my call when I see Javier and everyone else come out of the room. He makes his way towards me.
"We will be back tomorrow man I have to get them home and into bed. Call me if anything changes with her condition." Javier says.
"Hold for a sec." I say as I look to Javier " Of course man I completely understand go ahead and get them home. Luci would be upset if you had them here any longer. You will be the first call if anything changes."
"Thank you for getting to her when you did."
"There is no need to thank me Javier I would do it 100 times over."
"See you tomorrow man" he says with a soft smile.
"See you guys tomorrow Javier."
They turn around and head straight to the elevators. I watched them  step in while I finished my phone call. I put my cell into my pocket and make my way to Luci's room. I reach out grabbing the door knob I take a deep breath and release as I step into the room. My breath instantly hitched the second I stepped into the room and my eyes met Luciana. She laid there with tubes and wires attached to her body. It was absolutely heartbreaking seeing her look so lifeless and injured. I made my way to her bed side leaning down to kiss her cheek. I gently grasp her hand and sit down next to her bed.
"Hey baby girl. You were in a accident today. I know you probably can't here me but your brother abd the others just headed home. Matteo is with Silviano at your place and he will be here later to see you. I'm so so so sorry  I wasn't there to protect you."
"You have to pull through this. We all need you. I know this is nnot really the right time but I hope you know that I love you I really do though you and Matteo. I will find the ones responsible for this and make them pay."
*RING* *RING* *RING*
Phone Conversation

E: Speak!
A: Boss I found out who it was and you aren't going to be happy.
E: Tell me.
A: It was the Russians I think they might be working with those viper dick heads.
E: Put together the hack team and locate their local base. Once you have located the base call the mission squad as well as our special Ops squad ince you do give me a call. I want to end this shit with this annoying little gang as well the damn Russian Mafia thinking they have some pull.
A: You got it boss anything else you need before we dive into this.
E: No I don't get it done as soon as you can. Bye.
End of Conversation

I hang my phone up. I text my assitant to bring me my laptop, a change of clothes, and a few other personal items. I lean back into the chair while I hold Luci's hand and just gaze at her comatose state. After she wakes up I have to tell her the truth. Now that my enemies know about her and Matteo I can't protect them the best I can if she is continiously left in the dark. The only problwm is that this secret doesn't only effect our relationship this can effect what happens with Silviano and Matteo's relationship.

I shake out of my thoughts as my phone goes of notifying me that I have a text from my assistant telling me she is here. I stand up and make my way down to get my stuff.

I wake up to Matteo shouting out for his mom. I look at the time and see it's only six in the morning. I run my hand down my face and then make my way out of the room to find him. I search for him upstairs before making my way downstairs finding him in the living room.
"Hey Teo, Whats going on bud?"
"I want my mommy." he sniffles out as he rubs the sleep from his eyes.
"I know little man and we will see her after we have had baths, breakfast, and clean our mess up." I say trying to distract him for the next couple hours before we head to see Luciana and have to explain to him that shes hurt and in a coma.
"Okay silvi." he says barely above a whisper of dissapointment.
I step forward picking him up.
"What do you want for breakfast mister?"
"Ooh Ooh. I wants waffles with tella and nannas like mommy loves." he squeals out.
"Okay little man I cant cook that well so we will have to order it having it delivered. So after I make that call why don't we watch some cartoons while we wait for our yummy food." I say as I call my brothers chef asking her to make the breakfast then have a gaurd bring it to us. She happily agreed to do so. When I finished the call me and Matteo spent the next forty-five minutes watchinng Tom & Jerry.
