Chapter Eighteen

I am currently on my way to pick my son up and I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to being able to see him before tomorrow. I still can't believe that that I had a son with Luciana. I'm disappointed that I missed all these years with him but I am grateful that Luciana did such a great job raising him. I shake my thoughts as I pull up to the school and park in the parking lot. I step out of my car and I instantly feel like I am back in high school due to every parent staring at me watching me approch the school and the moms whispering to each other while giggling away. I stop and stand near the other parents waiting these last couple minutes to see Matteo. That's when a group of I'm assuming the PTA moms (which are really the I'm rich, divorced/married, I'm involved in everything my kid does, and I'm definitely better then all the other moms?).
" Hi I'm Lydia, this is Diana, Kelly, Heather, and Vivian."
"Uhm Hi. I am Silviano Garcia."
" As in the famous and insanely rich Garcias?"
"Yup that me."
"You have kids? Aren't you single? What are you doing here?"
"Aren't you a nosey one. Not that it's any of your business but I am here to pick up my son. Yes I am single. Also when to grown-ups love one anoth- "
"I know how kids are made haha well that's nice whos your little one?"
I roll my eyes at her and her little giggling posse of nosy PTA moms.
"Nosey much are we? My son is Matteo."
"No way your his father. people like you would never slum it with women like Luciana."
"Excuse fucking you. DO NOT talk about MY SON'S mother like you didn't get everything that you have from daddy until you learned how to put out for the man you are married to suck his bank dry. Luciana is more of a mother then you will ever be she has worked her ass off to get where she was at all while raising our son on her own. So why don't you and your group of our nannies raise our kids while we sit on our asses complaining how hard life is spending all our husbands money posse the hell out of my face before I ruin your life."

When I turn back towards the school everyone is back to whispering to one another and giggling. Finally the bell rings letting out the sea of children and I instantly spot Matteo near who I'm expecting is his teacher. I make my way through the kids to Matteo and once he see's me he squeals in excitment.
"SILVII"
"Hey little man how was your day?"
"It was good we leawned the alpahbet and I can count to 20. OH OH OH we had pizza fow lunch today and duwing weccess we played soccew." he exclaims in excitment.
"You are so smart maybe later you can show me. Yum pizza is the best and I love soccer we should paly together."
"whewes my momma?"
"She had to work a little late so she will be back for dinner."
"Oh okay. Lets go play Silvi"
"Yes lets go"
We head to Luci's she gave me a key for emergency moments like these. Once we arrive me and little man head tothe backyard and played until my phone rang. We paused or playing so I could answer the phone when I did it was Luci calling to tell me she'll be later cause of her car. Once we got off the phone I picked up Teo and headed to the kitchen to prep dinner. Becuase it's already about 4:30 so I made something quick and easy for us to eat. When we finished our dinner it was almost 6 so I had taken him upstairs to prep him for bath time.
"You ready to take a bath?"
"Yes but whewe is momma? She didn't have dinnew."
"Her car isn't working so she's gonna be a little longer." I'm starting to worry where is she its been almost 2 hours.
"Oh okay. Can we play aftew the bath?"
"Yes we can bud" I quickly bathed him and dressed him in is pajamas.
"okay lets go play bud."
"we can play witht the legos lets go."
We made our way to the play room and started playing with the legos. I just relished in moment

The site infront of me is not good at all. The driver's side of her SUV smashed in causing me to throw my car into park immediately running to her car. As I come to her window I see me poor girl with a huge gash on her forehead, cuts from the glass, lookes like her arm is broken, and she is unconcious. I have no idea of all the damge that she has to her. I call an ambulance and then I called my best friend and 3rd in command Alejandro.
Phone Convo

A: Yes boss wh-
E: Alejandro I need you to take a look at traffic cams near Luciana's business parking lot before and after 4pm.
A: You got it boss anything else you need.
E: Luciana was attacked I'm waiting for an ambulance for her so once you find the car who hit her parked car trace where it cam from where it went and who is responsible.
A: I'm on it boss I'll get back to you as soon as I have your information.
E: Bye.

Once I end the call the ambulance pulled into the parking lot. The fire department had to litteraly pry the door and dashboard up to get her out. My poor girl just looked to broken. As I got in my car to follow them to the hospital Matteo crossed my mind. Damn it I call my brother and Javi on a 3 way call.
Phone Convo

S: Yo D wha-
J: Who is-
E: Javier this is Elias or Diablo your sisters boyfriend she gave me your number in case of emergencies I also have Silviano on the line. I am calling you both in the same call because I'm on my way to the hospital with Luciana.
S & J: What? Why?
E: She had called asking me to come pick her up cause her car wouldn't start. As I was on the phone with her I heard a lond bang and glass shattering. I rushed to her work and when I got there someone had T-boned her car on the drivers side. she is in bad shape but still alive when they pulled her out.
S: Fuck man I have Matteo and I don't want to worry him.
J: Silviano why don't you keep him home for the night and take him to visit Luci in the hospital tomorrow. It's almost his bed time and Luci will kill all of us if we mess up his sleep schedule. Diablo I will make my way to the hospital now.
E: Sounds good to me see you soon.
S: That all sounds like a plan to me. I'll see you guys tomorrow.

I end the call as we are pulling into the hospital. I follow her in until im stopped at the door and told that a nurse will be out to give me updates. I nod my head and turn and sit down in one of the chair impatiently with my arms resting on my legs while holding my head. I'm not much of a man for religion but God please let her make it through this.
