Taehyung

"Son of a bitch!"

My fist collides with his jaw once, twice, until blood sputters out of his filthy mouth. His eyes shutter and he loses his balance. He tries to fight back and fails miserably due to his injured shoulder, not to mention that he's handcuffed.

I throw one swift punch to his nose and a waterfall of blood unleashes. This is so satisfying.

Lastly, I decided to finish it off with a pain that will last him for a while. I swing his injured shoulder behind his back and pull his arm upwards with full force. A crack resounds followed by a sharp, loud cry.

I don't leave his arm just yet and tug at it a little more. "You're lucky the police are here, or else you would have been six feet under the ground by now", I hiss.

He laughs humorlessly, "We had so much fun while you were gone. You have no idea what I did-"

I drive my fist into his side, targeting his ribs and I succeed. He bends forward holding his side while trying to keep his broken shoulder straight.

I notice from the corner of my eye Mark running toward us so I whisper into his ear, smirking, "Keep your sick lies to yourself. She has my name inked on her body. You will never ever have her you worthless piece of shit."

He growls angrily and attempts to punch me with his good arm, but I catch it in time. Mark slides between us, a few cops following behind him, taking that asshole away.

"Are you out of your mind? Do you want to get yourself in trouble?", Mark yells at me.

I don't regret it, I'm glad I got to diffuse some of my anger. I wish I could've snapped his neck instead, but with so many witnesses around it's a little bit difficult.

"Were you expecting me to wave him off and watch him leave with his limbs still intact? You should be thankful I hadn't killed him already", I bark.

Mark looks like he's done with me. He sighs and says, "As captain of the police department, I have to prevent you from committing mistakes that will get you into trouble. But as your friend, I recommend you rip the skin off his bones, then pour boiling acid over him until he's a useless pile of bones for stray dogs to feed on."

"I would love to do that", I beam.

"But you can't", he reminds me. "Don't let him get to your head, Iris is back with you and that's all that matters. Now go, she needs you."

I smile, "Thank you for everything, Mark."

"I'm happy I helped."

I leave him to deal with that bastard and I go to the ambulance, where Iris is being checked.

She seems slightly better now, Jungkook is sitting next to her cracking some jokes while the paramedics are measuring her pressure. Usually, she laughs her heart out when Jungkook fools around, but right now there's barely a hint of a smile on her face.

She notices me standing outside the ambulance and forces a smile to assure me that she's okay. I don't buy it.

The paramedic hands her a bottle of water and addresses all three of us, "Her blood pressure is low. For now, she should drink lots of water and eat more regularly, but she should run a few blood tests at the hospital for precaution."

At the sound of blood tests, Iris pales. I remember her fear of needles. The last time she had to withdraw blood at the hospital, she passed out and when she regained consciousness, she threw up. Jungkook made fun of her for days after that.
