One Week Later

Somehow, my father never knew about the incident that took place in my office. Laura probably didn't tell him because she didn't want to ruin Taehyung's and Dad's relationship. I wanted to apologize to her personally for what happened, but she didn't visit again and I didn't have the time to go see her either.

I've been so busy with running errands regarding the fashion show, it really drained me, but I'm all set for it. The designs are ready and I couldn't be any prouder of my team and myself for conquering this challenge in a short time.

We just finished the first rehearsal for the show and everything was on point.

"Okay everyone!", I clapped my hands, "That's it for today! You all did really well! So you can have the rest of the day off! And I'll see you on Monday!"

They've been working so hard lately, they deserve some time to rest, these three days will recharge their battery.

"Iris", Moni called. Ever since she saw the centerpiece that she'll be wearing and she's nagging to take it. She brought Hyra with her too, now they're both going to give me a headache.

"I swear to God, if you bring up the dress again, I'm going-"

"It's not about the dress. I gave up", she held her hands up in surrender.

"What is it then?"

"Let's go somewhere more private", Hyra interjected.

We headed to my office and when I opened the door, the flowers' fragrance invaded my senses. There was a bouquet in every corner of the room, each carrying a sweet note.

"Wow!", Moni stood shocked at the door. "He got you all this and you're still not talking to him?"

"Don't you think you're being a little harsh on him?", Hyra asked while mesmerizing the beautiful arrangements.

I shrugged and munched on a piece of chocolate.

"He sent you chocolate too?", my sister's eyebrows rose to her hairline and she shook her head in disapproval, "You're mean. Chocolates are a deal breaker!"

I haven't spoken to Tae since he left my office last week. I won't deny it, I'm falling apart without him, but he needs to learn his lesson.

Every morning, I walk into my office to a new arrangement of flowers, scattered all around, with hand-written notes on top of them. Our house isn't any different either, tulips are all over the place.

With all the nice gestures and the loving presents, I almost ran into his arms again. But I decided that I'm not going to talk to him until he opens up to me and reveals what he's been hiding.

Or else he can keep sleeping on the couch and hugging his pillow.

"These are delicious!", Moni exclaimed.

I can't disagree, they are indeed so good.

"Iris, don't make it any harder for him. You recently got back together after years! Is this really worth it?", Hyra inquired.
