Hey guys! Wow! We are close to 6K reads! It is mind-blowing to me that that many people would even want to read my book! When I first started this I never imagined it would be praised like this or go this far! I have to thank all of you for continuing my drive to write this book! Your comments encourage me to keep writing! I feel like I am back on a drive for this and I might be updating more often. Floor 51: Boss Chamber

"Alright, here is the boss chamber! The reconnaissance team told us that this boss is a large green bear named "Boron the Menacer". He has a spear that can adjust course, but can be destroyed easily. However, it can respawn quickly, so we will have to make the most of the time we have. I want shield users in the front, and fast people behind them so you can destroy the spear. Then I want heavy hitters to be at the ready so when that happens you can go and attack."

I sit back waiting for the signal to enter. People are still discussing battle strategy. How hard could it be, we have a strategy! Just do what you are told! Whatever, at least Kirito is back, this will be much easier. I look over at him and he has a bored expression. "Kirito! Look alive will you! Seriously! Do you think you are that powerful? You died before remember?!" He cringes at that statement. "Whatever Asuna, after this I have some business I need to take care of."

"Kirito!"

"What?"

"Why are you so cold to me!?"

He looks at me with more boredom in his face, "I'm not, I'm just thinking of how this is a waste of our time."

How could he say such a thing? A waste of our time? It really has gone to his head hasn't it! He's so stupid and dense! What does he mean by that?! We are here to help beat the game! "Kirito! You are the most-" He puts his hand on my mouth. "Shut up Asuna! I'll explain everything after!"

The nerve! I'll explain everything after! Whatever! We'll see what he has to say after we are done! I'm sick and tired of him and his stuck up attitude and then telling me to be quiet!

"Everyone! The doors are open! Let us charge!" I will deal with him later. We all charge into the boss chamber and torches along the hall light up a dark green color. The boss appears and the description was spot on except for the fact that the boss is like 20 feet tall. Same goes for the spear. And the spear was razor thin, so hitting would be harder then we speed types originally thought.

The boss doesn't waste any time in slicing his spear around. He immediately attacks the shield-users. His razor thin spear fazes straight through their shields and hits them all. They go flying backwards with their health bars slowly lowering. "Everybody back up! Don't let the spear get near anybody!" Kirito jumps up and goes to attack it while everyone is screaming at him to stop. "Kirito! STOP! DON'T GO!" I scream out.

Kirito charges the boss with his Elucidator and Black-Red sword. He jumps up right as the spear comes crashing down on top of him. He dodges to the left right as it finishes it's arc. He charges a sword skill with his Elucidator and it fires straight at the boss. It literally left his hand! It hits the boss in the side and one of it's 4 health bars completely depletes. It was an insane amount of damage.

Then I realized the side effect. His Elucidator, the sword that Kirito was known for, exploded into polygons. Kirito's face was emotionless as he opened the menu once more and equipped his Dark Repulsar. Everyone looked in awe as we realize what just happened. I realize what we are doing, "Everyone! Let's go! Don't let Kirito have all the glory!"

Everyone starts charging the boss at once. The spear keeps slashing through our ranks, however minimal the damage might be. No one can land a hit on the spear. Meanwhile I charge with my rapier and charge Flash Strike. I jump up and hit it straight in the chest. It also does very little damage, but all damage counts.

Meanwhile I see Silica and Lizbeth hanging back making sure people don't die and that they are healed to keep fighting, but they are bound to be running low on crystals at this point. There are just too many to heal.

I get hit by the spear through the torso. I spin around at least 5 times and am slashed back towards the ground. My health bar decreases substantially into the yellow zone. Silica jumps in front of me with her dagger Black Assassin and leaps up to the monster. She gets hit by the spear and grabbed by the monster. Her health enters the red zone as the monster puts its fingers on her head.

"Silica! NO!" It squeezes her head into polygons, and she explodes altogether. Silica just died, right before my eyes.
